Very easy to install, very happy with the product, one thing I would like. A cable management point, would be nice to be able to fasten all the wires to the extruder.Although I didn't expect it to be there, but would be a nice future addition . Other than that, really happy

It works well for the money. A couple of thing you might want to know.1)The one i got was the right side version(i.e lever arm is to the top right when you are looking at the motor shaft). Not sure if they have left version too.2)There's no gearing. I thought it was 1:3 reduction for some reason. It's just 1:1. That being said, 1:1 works quite well with twin hobs for 1.75 filament. So can't complain.3)Hobs tend to bite strongly into the filament. Even if you relax the spring as far as it'll go. Might not be suitable for flex flimanets with stock springs but i haven't tested this.

This is a really sturdy replacement for the stick extruder, however there is an issue I am seeing now I have used it for a while. I am seeing a worrying amount of wear on the roller where the teeth start to wear into the holder, I will solve this by adding a shim/thin washer to lift the roller away from the alu carrier, If this was to be fixed it would be a definate 5 star item.

Its ok, looks a bit better made than it really is.Fasteners are made of the softest metal even with the correct sized tools, the grub screw for the extruder shaft wheel is made of cheese and without threadlock there was no way this was staying tight for me.Spring seems very heavy duty almost too much tension and the tightening 'device' if you get the spring in the wrong place can add massive tension with a tiny turn due to the plunger that makes the spring tighter almost slips inside the top part of the spring. Hard to explain but not the easiest to get right, and i've got about 25 printers so am not a newbie to installing extruders (although i normally go for single geared up until this one)Not sure if i got a lemon, its ok, but other than being metal it doesn't print any better than original plastic one and its impossible to fit a filament wheel to manually push or pull the filament out as there is no shaft popping out the top like a single gear (and original extruder) does.

Works as expected. The other reviews state their is no bowden connector on the "out" side of the extruder. Thats because thats the "in" side of the extruder.If its feeding incorrectly then either rearrange your stepper pins so it feeds correctly or adjust in Firmware as required. Default e/steps for initial calibration are 140. Send M92 E140 then calibrate (or adjust in firmware as required). Easy assembly.If using on an i3 Mega then rotate your extruder stepper bracket otherwise the arm catches the X axis.

IT'S UPGRADE TIME...Looks great, nice and chunky with lots of teeth, let's hope it works as good as it looks.I upgraded to the other red aluminium single drive extruder ages ago but this should be more reliable than even the old upgrade was supposed to be.

It's a nice design and theoretically should give much better torque than a standard extruder with a single hobbed gear, spoiler: it's not. I did make sure I ordered from '3Dman Direct', so this should be the "authentic" product.The aluminium parts are reasonable and it all fits very well but it's all rendered useless by the hobbed gears being complete trash. After installing and calibrating steps I immediately noticed it was skipping like crazy which no amount of extra load on the spring fixed. After taking it apart and closely inspecting the drive gears the problem was clear the cuts in the gear for gripping the filament aren't sufficient. It's easy to confirm by taking one of the gears in your hand and trying to drag it along some filament.It really is a shame as the rest of the product appears quite good but the problem with the hobbed gears makes it useless. Maybe I got a lemon, though I suspect not given both gears have the same poor profile.

This upgrade has given me almost perfect prints on my Ender 3 Pro, no more slipping filament, no more stringing also I can now print using flexible filament, eg TPU now prints perfectly. I would definitely recommend this upgrade to any Ender 3 user.

IT's as descibed; a dual gear extruder feeder. I own an Ender 5 Plus, 3 Max and 3 Pro and the drive fits on my direct drive mods. Will purchase again when the time comes.Note that the dual gear drive required more installation space then the regular single gear drive (It's about twice as thick). If you buy this to act as a simple upgrade, it may not fit your machine. Make sure your X-carriage/Dirct Drive plate has room for it.

Hay que ver que tu motor tenga el eje largo porque si no vas a tener que comprar el motor también.Ademas hay que ajustar bien los pasos.

3D-Druck ist ein Lifestyle, hat man mir gesagt. Das musste ich schmerzhaft feststellen, nachdem ich mir neue Düsen und einen neuen Extruder für meinen Ender 3 v2 geholt habe. Man muss die E-Steps jedoch umkonfigurieren um diesen Extruder vernünftig zum laufen zu bringen.Die wichtigsten Dinge zuerst: es läuft bei mir jetzt mit 129,4 steps/mm. Da aber nicht jede Düse gleich ist, ist das nur ein Anhaltspunkt. Meine Düsen waren nicht grade hochwertig, weshalb ich fast mit dem Kalibrieren aufgehört habe, weil bei jeder Umstellung die Düse andere Ergebnisse geliefert hat. Erst mit dem Wechseln der Neuen Düse ließ vermuten, dass die Neue Düse ordentlich einen weg hatte. Also wieder andere Düse eingebaut und damit läuft es jetzt problemlos. Es sind keine Filamente mehr gerissen, und das Einspannen ist auch ganz einfach. Kein Gefriemel mehr, da das Filament kaum Platz hat, um sich zu wehren. Ebenso hat die Verschmutzung am Steppermotor deutlich abgenommen.Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist jedoch, dass man jetzt kein Rad mehr hat, um den Extruder manuell zu drehen, sondern man muss den Extruder jetzt per Software ansteuern... Und das geht nur, wenn das Hotend heiß genug ist. Aber hey, dafür verschwendet man jetzt keinen Strom und Filament mehr durch Risse und die Fehlerquote ist bei mir bisher nach 50 Drucken noch auf 0. Definitiv sein Geld wert!

Montato con calma in circa 20 min, è ben fatto, kit pronto e semplice, cercando su youtube come montarlo è molto facile.Mi sembra funzioni molto bene, mi pare più efficace dell'originale.

This seems to basically work okay, however, the kit does not include the second tube fitting in the picture, nor is the aluminum drilled and tapped for it. This is a blaintent case of the vendor deceiving the buyer. If I wasn't pressed for time when I bought this, I would have returned it, either way, I recommend you buy from someone that isn't a liar.
