A PERFECT SECOND S. CLAY WILSON VOLUME!
An absolutely PERFECT follow-up to the delightful background work and budding taboo-crushing art of the infamous S. Clay Wil-SIn.Gorgeous color plates in smooth, vivid lines that actually pull your eyes in to the swirling cesspools of depravity, allowing more and more intricate detail to become evident as your bulging orbs follow the incredibly jam-packed spurts and splashes of Mr. Wilson's ultra-violent, beyond explicit tableaus of every shocking depiction of perversion and oversized "Naughty Bits" going wherever they fit - and, more often than not, where they DON'T. A delightful assemblage of the artists labyrinthine, complex and elaborately stunning works will keep you well entertained for weeks - or months, depending on your tolerance and dedication - of marveling at the majestic subversive pains-taking works of an unparalleled Modern Master.

Prime Wilson....full tilt comix insanity from cover to cover
Here it is finally! Volume 2 in the Mythology of S. Clay Wilson, and oh what a volume. This is a thing of beauty--true art, no pretension. 224 pages crammed with Wilson's debauched madness. Glorious stuff. Nothing is sacred. Demons, bikers, pirates, bull dykes, and psychos of every sort warp the brain with their misadventures and terrible deeds. If easily offended, look away, look away, do it quickly........Patrick Rosenkranz has compiled the finest collection yet of S. Clay Wilson's work, and there is very little repetition of material that was previously printed in other books. Quite a few rarities here to go along with the more readily available Zap stuff, which also deserves mention as it was always top notch, with "Bums and the Bird-Spirit" from issue #10 being among his most striking(and atypical) work. This is a handsome book, a treasure really - big and loud, and ready to make your eyes bulge and your head spin. As soon as i cracked the cover i knew it to be counted among my prized possessions. A monument to a mad genius.

More of the finest filth from S. Clay Wilson
Volume 2 in a 3-volume biography of Underground Comix Artiste S. Clay Wilson. Unbelievable drawings and stories of a hilariously perverse mind with a grand, in-depth biography of the artist in question.

Underground Comic Art
A big plus to the publishers for releasing 3 hardcover volumes with dust jacket for the works of S. Clay Wilson, most known for ZAP magazine, personally I find his later works as interesting as his earlier works. Warning! His art is not for everyone.

Clay Wilson's early beginnings
The background info can be anticlimactic- one expects such an artistic rebel to have demonstrated a similar anti establishment philosophy in his everyday life - but not so. So concentrate on the art and the disregard it has for all acquiescent civility. His characters are amoral and purely driven by instant debauched gratification. There are no white hats here , everyone serves to satiate their primal urges and often as not become the abused as well.
