KAVU Original Rope Bag Sling Pack with Adjustable Rope Shoulder Strap

Super well made, fun colors, and holds a surprising amount of stuff. I've passed on earlier versions of Kavu bags because the front velcro pocket was too small to hold my iphone -- my 5s fits fine in this version, even with a case. I love the contrasting yellow fabric inside; such a fun pop of color!It is very easy to pull this bag to your front and get out what you need. I love a hands free bag -- all my mommy friends love this style of bag too. It's perfect if you have kids and need to haul snacks, doo-dads, spare underpants, plus your personal belongings. It is perfect for casual family summertime outings with the family.

My wife prefers the sling as a purse. She had a 31 bag my mother bought her, it didn't even make it a year before the main strap broke. 31's response "that sucks bro".I have a feeling this purse is going to outlive my wife, or more likely she'll want a different pattern in the future and we'll be able to resell this thing as if it was still brand new. The material quality is TOP NOTCH. Its sewn together effectively and you can tell it's not going to fall apart any time in the next decade. If i was climbing a mountain and fell and was caught by a branch and my bag was the only thing preventing a 100ft fall to my death, I would want this bag because it has rope integrated into it and I could Magyver my own rescue.Speaking to it as a purse, my wife states that it could use some improvement on how they have arranged the zippers and pockets. She has gotten used to it though and has found a place for everything. She now states its AMAZING and will love it for forever or until next Tuesday, whichever comes first.

I bought this Kavu bag for my daughter after receiving one for mother's day. What can I say, LOVE these bags. No more shoulder and neck pain from carrying a regular pocketbook. Sometimes, I will even forget I have it on. If you experience pain in your shoulders and neck, get one of these. They are great for travel, they are durable, and there is lots of room. Can't say enough about them.

I had a Kavu purse years ago that just wouldn't die, and I kept on hoping that they would come up with some cute prints. I love this bag! It is easy to carry and easy to access and I am hoping that it will last as long as that purse... it never did fail on me. I ended up giving it away! It is a bit narrow on the inside, so I can only carry a couple of diapers, a narrow wipes container and one book or kindle. The front zippered pouch is great for the cell phone or a wallet. The top pouch is velcro. It's probably safe to put things in there, but I don't trust it yet. Overall, the size does force me to keep "the stuff" to a minimum. I only wish that they put a clasp somewhere in there for keys. The color is a bit darker than it shows up on my computer. A very dark navy, almost black.

I love these bags so much. They're super versatile and come in so many cute colors and patterns. This is the second Kavu bag that I have purchased. I needed a replacement and the new styles have been improved since I last bought mine a couple years ago. The bottom zip pocket on the front has FINALLY been enlarged to be big enough for you to put your smart phone or other things in. The old style had a 3" zipper pocket that sucked because nothing would fit in it, so I very much enjoy the new updated pocket. They also made it to where you can now conveniently roll up the extra strap length so it's out of your way which is also a nice touch. I give these bags 5 stars because theyre so useful and last forever!

My teen daughter wanted one of these as all her friends had one. She wanted one made of the thicker, sail cloth type material rather than the lighter, waterproof material. All her friends carry these around and they like the one strap cross-body fit. The extra pockets are great for cell phones, cords, and headphones and the big part of the bag can hold a decent amount of items. My daughter said that if she has a lot in the bag, the strap can sometimes rub on her shoulder uncomfortably, but otherwise she loves it.

This is our third purchase of this product. My grandson loved mine so much he ordered one for himself. I have received several compliments on my bag printed with fantasy animals. The colors are great and the quality of the bags is outstanding. Have had my first one for almost a year and use it daily. No wear showing at all. Cleans up nicely. I have even thrown mine in the washer on gentle and hung to dry.

I will never carry a purse again. KAVU is so convenient and fits nicely around your body. You can fit alot of personal items in it and your wallet. It is nice for stuffing small purchase items in when shopping at the mall. I love the easy zip pockets. YOu don't have to take the bag off to unzip the pockets, you just slide it from your back side to front to get to the pockets. Great small front pockets for carrying a cell phone. It is not bulky and cumbersom like a backpack.
