There are none of the bad ingredients found on the must-to-avoid lists. It's very healthy by all accounts. The price is a bit higher than others but you're paying for quality. Look for periodic sales though.

The food is amazing my cat cant get enough of it, love the variety pack the one bad thing is the smell of the food.

Even though my twenty year old VERY PICKY cat wouldn't eat it (she had an infection at the time and was even more picky because of not feeling well and also, she doesn't know what she likes, I'm convinced she's playing me lol), I was surprised by how high quality the food looked. I have never seen cat food like this before and I just know it's a wonderful product despite what my girl thinks. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a coupon in the mail for a free 12 pack so I redeemed it and we're going to give it to the local animal shelter. Thanks so much! I'm only giving 4 stars because my cat wouldn't eat it, no fault of theirs.

My cat is getting up there and years and lately I have noticed he has t been eating his hard food as much and when he does, he only chews a few pieces. He has had some dental work done but I just don’t think his teeth can handle the hard food. I have tried wet food in the past and he loves it but vomits almost every time he eats it. We are going on day 4 of this and no scarf and barfs! He goes absolutely nuts when I open the can and he seems to enjoy the flavor immensely! I recommend this cat food-albeit a bit pricey, our fur babies are worth every penny!

My cat really enjoys it, so I don't have a ton else to add other than that which is all that's really important anyways. A bit pricey, but the ingredients are seemingly high quality, so every once in a while it's probably worth it

My cat needed to go on a reduced phosphorus diet and this is lower in phosphorus than his previous food, and he likes it. I tried other foods but he would not eat them. The food looks nice and appears to be very wholesome.

I’ve opened 3 cans and the product is dry and has a waxy smell. It does not smell like cat food at all. One of my cats is diabetic and I need to avoid as much grain as possible. Both of my cats will not go near this food. I have no idea what the issue is, but they will not even attempt to eat it. I will try to donate this to a shelter.Edit: The company reached out and offered a full refund. I appreciate that they understand this food may not satisfy the appetite of every cat. I’m glad so many cats love this food and can support the Solid Gold products. My two guys, unfortunately have spoken, and you all know how cats can be!
