My vet recommended a senior food for my cat. We are fostering another cat who is allergic to grains, so we got this one. Sadly, she really doesn't like it and is sort of putting up with it to the end of the bag. The other two cats like it, though, when they can sneak some so I am betting it's not the food so much as Nina's tastes. It arrived quickly and was in a good package, well-sealed and in date.

My 2 cats are 18 and 14 and they both just love this food. I was so happy to find a dry food that was grain free and specifically created for Mature, Indoor Cats--perfect for my household! Unfortunately, the price of this food has gotten so high that I might no longer be able to afford it on my very fixed income. It's just depressing!

My 18 yr. old cat had chronic diarrhea for months and the vet couldn’t figure out why. On a hunch, I decided to slowly change her food to a grain-free food and her diarrhea was completely gone within two weeks. That was at least 3 yrs. ago and her diarrhea has not returned. I do feed her a small amount of wet cat food daily, in addition to the dry food.

This is a reorder. All five of the cats like this. However I have one munchkin cat that I inherited from another family member. She was very overweight. With her short legs it looked like her tummy almost drug on the floor. She is a semi-feral that is not very sociable and stays out of sight most of the time. Once I started using Freedom Mature Indoor Cat food and stopped worrying about her, about six months or so later, I caught a glimpse of her as she walked toward me and realized she no longer looked like a bulldog coming down the hallway. I eased up on her so I could get a better look and realized the her whole torso had become quite slenderized. I do recommend this Freedom Mature Indoor Cat to help maintain a healthy weight for an indoor cat that is not very active.

I use the Mature form of the Blue Buffalo Freedom grain-free mature because my cats are older now. I mix all three together.Cats and dogs should be not be fed any dry food that contains corn gluten. 95% of all corn has been genetically modified with a herbicide int he seeds so that when the corn grows and if an insect eats the corn, within minutes the insect stomach EXPLODES. You will solve your cat or dog stomach problems if you do not feed then anything that contains corn gluten or corn meal, also NO SOY !
