Cheaply made, mostly of plastic.It flashes off every 5 seconds or so for about a half a second. Mounted outside on my garage. When it turns on it interferes with my radios signal and blocks it out so all there is, is static. Returning and getting something of higher quality.

Incredible light so far!!! I purchased this to replace a 42 watt cfl wall pack because bulbs were only lasting 6 months. This new led light has a Solid aluminum base plate. The instructions were not the best, as they want you to use a hammer to break out mounting plate holes. A drill is what I used. I Drilled holes through aluminum baseplate to match mounting box using previous 42 watt cfl light as a template. As far as lumens, I measured this new led fixture using a lumen / lux app I downloaded on my phone as I wanted to compare light output to my 42 watt compact flourescent tube (cfl) light. I have the light mounted on my house, under the roof overhang and about 7 feet off the ground. This light is used to light my front yard as we have no streetlights nearby. I tested the light output of a two month old cfl bulb, and it registered 378 lux standing 6 feet out infront of light. In the same exact spot, the new led light produced 1430 lux. I actually just ordered another one because of price/quality! By the way, The off axis light is similar to my cfl fixture.

I wanted to replace the fluorescent bulb type security lights at my place of business and bought one of these after checking out a few others. These LED lights are super bright and many times better than the fluorescent style units. Instant on, full bright even in cold winter temps. I bought a second one to replace another fluorescent unit. For the price of these I’m sorry I didn't do it sooner

Great light source! Installation will vary according to each customer's existing situation. As other reviewers have noted, having a drill and a few other hand tools should be considered highly desirable to assist tailoring the unit for installation. You need to be very careful not to lose the rather small screws that hold the unit together while reassembling following mounting of the backing/baseplate to the electrical box on the wall. Once installed, it provides fantastically bright light, far surpassing what my old fluorescent was able to provide.

Throws a lot of light. Easy to install. The draw back was reflective light makes it come on-off. Easy to correct. I use a plastic battery post protector and drill a 1/4 inch hole in it so sun light can shut it off but the reflective does not get to it. Been working for a year. Screws are small but I did not loose any.This morning notice unit was still on. Check it out and contacted seller and they are sending me a replacement. The light sensor is not replaceable so sending a new unit.

Ok so this unit as with many things is cheap in quality, but works very well. Like others have stated the screws are too short when you put it back together, especially on a ladder. Thanks to Golf guy for giving us the size of the replacement screws. This light is super bright, I got it instead of the 26 watt 3000 lumens, which might be better if you need a less intense light or want to use less wattage. I like this light and would buy again, especially if your looking for a compact powerful light. It makes my backyard look like daytime

You get what you pay for, I guess. Difficult to install because the gasket keeps falling out when you try to put the cover on. What should have taken ten minutes to install took a half hour.

Light is smaller then the one i replaced but has a strong bright light hope it is durable as it seem's to be made from pretty light weight materials as someone else said the screws to secure cover could be longer but i did get it together with no real trouble.
