I'm so pleased that the people of Palau have joined forces with each other to start documenting their cultural medicinal heritage. This book is truly a wonderful resource. Many people put their hearts and souls into it, and it shows. I went to Palau in hopes to meet some of these amazing people (natural healers and local practitioners/MD's/etc), and struck out. I'll go about it a different way, next time. If you're interested in wholistic/integrative medicine, you'll appreciate this book. It includes classifications, chemical analyses, cultural uses, photographs, growing areas, references, and more!
