Ekco6-3/4" Corelle Livingware Bread and Butter Plate Sold in Packs of 6, 6 pack, Winter Frost White

I have an older set of Corell, and these are indistinguishable from the older pieces. Very satisfied.

I remembered the Corelle my mother used to have holding up well to abuse, so I decided to replace my old tempered-glass dish set (with many missing pieces) with these. I didn't want heavy dishes because I have arthritis and am not getting any younger.Instead of buying a boxed set of so many place settings, I opted for the six-packs of dinner plates, luncheon plates, and bread-and-butter plates plus the Fun Pack that has the serving bowl and four large 28 oz. bowls. I plan to get colorful mugs and placemats to complement the dishes.The dinner plate is perfect as a microwave cover for the serving bowl, and the bread-and-butter plates are perfect to cover the individual bowls. The plates stack efficiently in my cupboard; using one of those Closet Maid-type shelfs, I can stack all six of the dinner plates and bread-and-butter plates on the top and the luncheon plates (with serving bowl on top) and the four bowls stacked side by side underneath in just one small area of my cupboard. For an apartment with relatively little kitchen cabinet space, this is a real blessing.Some have complained that these plates seem thin, but remember: they are Corelle, and the Vitrelle material they are made of is not your usual stoneware or tempered glass. I actually dropped a plate on the floor the other day from sink height (not something I'd recommend you deliberately do!), and it bounced on the vinyl flooring and did not break. I expect these dishes will hold up very well in daily use (microwave, dishwasher, oven), and they won't off-gas dangerous chemicals in the microwave like plastics will.

I purchased these as dishes for my cat. I was looking for set of a dishes because we feed her three times a day. Also, I wanted something "appetizer or salad sized" because her portions are not very big.These were perfect. There were six in the box. I use them daily and we run them in the dishwasher quite often. I've had them for a couple of months now and none of them have chipped. They seem much more durable than our actual dishes!I wish they were a little less expensive (since I did buy them as cat dishes) but I think they will last a long time. I would recommend them as great plates for an cocktail party! They do not have a pattern and are pure white -- they would probably make for good little dishes to decorate and give as gifts.

Upon opening the box, I could not believe that all 6 plates were actually intact (not broken), since, when picking up the box off my porch, I heard nothing but clang, clang, clang, which very clearly sounded like a whole lot of broken plate pieces. The 6 plates were completely loose inside a HUGE box (25 times the volume/size as the plates) with absolutely NO packing material whatsoever, other than a couple small air pocket bags also floating loose around this big box 12 times their size. There was also a small (plate size) empty box within the bigger box, which was clearly the actually packing box for the plates, but the end of this box was unsealed (glue broken). It was obvious that the glue did not separate during shipping, but was sent that way (unsealed) from the shipping source. Again, I am amazed the plates were still unbroken despite the absence of any protection whatsoever during shipping in 10°F outside temperatures (such as would further promote fracture). The plates get 5 stars, shipping provisions get negative 1 star. Average would be 2, but I'll give it a 3.

I'm a huge fan of Corelle plates and bowls. I used to have fancier plates and other ceramic dishes, but I got fed up with difficulties in stacking all the plates, the challenges of buying more of the same pattern if you had a big party or a plate broke.I am so much happier having switched over to Corelle. These plates are heavy duty, light, and look great. You can put them in the oven (up to 350) and you can lift a big stack without any trouble.The bread and butter plates are a perfect size and fit right into my Corelle collection. I use these all the time and really couldn't imagine getting tired of having them around! I haven't had any quality issues or questions on whether they were "firsts" or "seconds". They all stack perfectly and don't have any visible imperfections. I'm totally satisfied with this product.

Much nicer than expected! They really are lightweight and nice looking. They still feel high quality even though they are so lightweight. I showed my wife the video they have about the plate being dropped from such a high distance and... threw one of the plates on the ground just to test it. lol, the plate was fine, no scratches or blemishes of any kind. They're Corelle plates, not much to say about them other than their silly labels. They have printing on the back on the labels which partially adheres to the plates. When you peel off the labels some of the ink sticks to the plate instead of the label so you cannot read it. What a waste of ink & effort. The ink washes off the plate on the first run through the dishwasher.The packaging was perfect. The plate were in individual bubble-wrap resealable pouches, ensuring they would arrive safely. I'm going to re-use those bubble pouches when I have to mail something.

These are great I just wish they made nicer prints. We settled with white because all the other options were 80's looking. I bought some fancy plates about a year ago but my husband seems to break or chip all of them so I figured I'd be more practical this time around. So far no breaks or chips. I ended up ordering the bowls and smaller plates as well.
