CORELLE Boutique Cherish Embossed Square 16-pc Set

They came well packaged in the box from Correlle, but the Amazon box lacked stuffing. Regardless, nothing was broken and all the dishes were perfect. The dinner plates are larger than what we are used to. We like the smaller size of the salad plates. I adore the mugs! The mugs are on the larger side and I have a set of blue splatterware that these will look lovely with. The design is embossed so food really isn't going to get stuck anywhere. I see that as a non-issue. They are decorated but not overly so, which I love. We have had Correlle for decades and these dishes have that same weight and feel. I got this set of Correlle Boutique Cherish to replace some decades old Correlle dishes that my parents had because the painted designs were proven to be of high lead content. Vitrille glass contains no lead it is 3 layers of soda glass. These dishes are so pretty and will really dress up a rustic wood table. I see them as very versatile.

Love, love, love my new dishes. I wanted Corelle to replace my old broken china. I thought about buying the cheaper plain white set but opted to pay a little extra for the Boutique set. I am so glad I did. I will use these dishes forever and why skimp with a few bucks when we use and see these EVERY DAY! They are so light, so pretty, so durable and they dress up even simple meals with the embossing. I also didn't know how I would feel about the square pattern - I love them! The square bowls are easy to carry and I don't worry about the kids carrying the dishes because they are so resilient. They seem to wash up pretty easy but some stuff will stick in the embossing if you let them sit overnight. The one negative are the stupid mugs they include which have nothing to do with Corelle and are a waste of space. I kept them just for the sake of having a set but we have yet to use one. They are a heavy ceramic waste and Corelle should just get rid of them.

I purchased two of the 16 piece sets as a Christmas gift for my mom, a long time fan of Corelle. They were her favorite Christmas present. She still loves them three months later. The square plates are ever so slightly rounded at the sides, the raised design is subtle, and doesn't catch food in the design. They work well in the microwave. The dinner plates are deeper than we are used to and seem huge, we use the smaller plates for most meals and are considering adding the even smaller (6 1/2") plates to the collection. The bowls are deep and suitable for soup, ice cream, salad, popcorn, ramen or cereal. The angle of bowls sides causes them to tilt more sharply in the dishwasher, so we've been spacing them out in the racks so they don't bang together. So far the whole set is intact. The plates stack compactly and all eight together are quite light.

Love Corelli dinner wear both for the durability but also because of weight Previously had the plain set but really like the embossed texture these haveWould definitely recommend

Purchased these as a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law.This pattern is classy, perfect for every day use, easy to dress up for a fancy meal, light weight and very durable and break-resistant...perfect for a home with an active toddler!

As I am getting older things are getting heavier!!! I was shopping for new Dishes that were pretty and lightweight.So happy with the new Correll!!!! I received a set when I got married 50 years ago!!!! Used them for a long time and I bought those heavy dishes. Love my new ones!!!! So different and pretty!!

I don't know this this set if 4.75 stars. While attractive, the lifted plate pattern causes uneven storage and I already have a chip in one large plate near the pattern leading me to believe these require extreme care when stacking. Support was great regarding replacing.10/12/18 second ship within 6 months. This is not good for Corelle. The only thing I will say is their customer service is exceptional. I am hoping this is not a defective pattern.12/13 - up to four pieces now one of which is a cup that is chipped quite easily. I don't know what this garbage is but it clearly is not corral of old. Their support continues to be good as I did replace a second piece. But I will not buy this stuff again.
