When you've got 7 or 8 smoke alarms, you need THESE!
Great price, quick delivery, and as ya know, ya gotta replace all those 9 volt batteries in your house smoke detectors every time you change your clocks for daylight saving time! (Yeah, its a tradition. Too bad for Hawaii and Arizona -- their smoke detectors probably don't work anymore because no one changes their batteries!).These are just as good as any name brand, and you get a pack of them for cheap! I'll be buying more next fall when its time to 'fall-back' all the clocks and replace batteries in my smoke detectors!

Good price and okay
Okay battery - Seem not quite as long lasting or durable as name brands, but at a better price.

Second purchase after a year of good results. size and durability has not been an issue
I bought my first set of these in November 2017. I noted the issues about the size but everything I intended to put them in had plenty of room. I typically replace my smoke detector batteries every year and each one of these lasted at least a year. When I compared the voltage with a leading brand, after year of use they were both about the same. I have one in a wireless garage door opener keypad. That one has been in there since November 2017, and this review is February 2019, and the keypad Is still going strong. I haven't found a device that these won't fit in, but there are indeed a little bit larger than some name brands. so if you have a device that has a clip holder With a tight fit, you may want to measure it first.I have them in smoke detectors of various makes , a CO2 detector, The wireless garage door opener pad, a couple of tools and I just haven't had any problem with fit or durability. As expected of an alkaline battery, they hold a charge as well. I checked an unused battery that was over a year old on my digital voltmeter and it read 9.4v. I just bought my second set, so hopefully they will be as solid as first.

Exploding Batteries, Stick w Major Brands
I heard a pop a couple of nights ago, but didn't know what made it. I noticed that the battery compartment was expanded on my wireless microphone remote unit today. I was able to pry out the battery and clean the compartment and the remote still works. Battery was ordered in April 2021. Exploding batteries are not a good thing, and now I know why airlines don't like you putting these in checked luggage. (The explosion could cause a fire.)

Comparing to Duracell is not a fair comparison
These are just like any other generic 9 volt alkaline battery. I have not tested the ones I got because I don't have a compulsion to do so. If I find that they are horribly short-lived I will update my review accordingly. One reviewer posted a photo of one of these next to a Duracell battery and it is a horribly unfair comparison. There are certain products that will only accommodate the Duracell brand because they make their batteries smaller than everyone else. Even Energizer is bigger in size than Duracell and that in no way, shape or form is a reflection of the quality of the product. It is a reflection of product manufacturers who knowingly size their components to Duracell's specifications. There forums out there that talk about only Duracell fitting, and in some cases, only Duracell not fitting the battery holder. In summary, these batteries seem fine and are appropriately sized, unless the battery being replaced has to be a direct replacement for the Duracell brand due to exact specifications for that brand.Special note: Some products which come with Duracell batteries may specify in the user manual that the battery replacement must be Duracell branded. Please consult your product documentation for such information.
