Fox pro replacement castors
Both the fixed position and swivel castors were a perfect match to replace the original castors on my Fox Pro table saw base. My Grizzly table saw weighs around 550 lbs and it easily rolls out if the way with these new castors. Solid construction and well made, I anticipate these castors will last a long time. While not related to the item I’m reviewing, my Dewalt construction jacks were perfect for elevating the saw a half in off the floor so I could replace the castors. While I don’t anticipate needing to, I would buy these castors again.

Terrible Product - I would give this product ZERO-Stars, if I could.
I am not saying that the manufacturer, nor the distributor are not reputable; the trouble is the product design. I bought two replacement casters for my ShopFox mobile stand, which supports a Jet 12-inch band saw. Within a week, the replacement casters split and broke.I do not blame the distributor, it is the caster design. These castors cannot handle the weight of a 12-inch Jet band saw . . . pathetic. (This is why I did not make a claim for replacements.)I thought that the current casters, already on the mobile stand, were simply old and just could not stand up to the use - but when the new casters broke a week after delivery, I ordered the Steelex Cast Iron casters (perfect fit for the plastic/rubber replacement casters).Don't waste your money buying these OEM plastic/rubber casters. You will be very disappointed.

Great, but not able to replace fixed casters on a Shop Fox D2057A
This caster works for what it is, and it works very well in that regard. My one complaint is not about the product, but what I was going to use the product for. Initially I was going to replace the fixed casters on my Shop Fox mobile base with these (the product title says it's compatible), so that my table saw would be more maneuverable. But I didn't realize that the hole pattern for the fixed casters is not in the same location as the pattern for the swivel casters. When I first bolted them in place, I realized that the casters would turn only part way before hitting the reinforcing brackets of the support "shelf". Eventually I noticed that the hole patterns on the swivel caster shelves were closer to the outer edge. I ultimately just attached them using two bolts and had part of the caster bases sticking out beyond the shelves on the base. It works, but I'll have to drill new holes to get all four bolts in. Be aware of this if you are planning the same thing.

It’s good to know the wheels are still available
They were easy to install and they work great

Okay, if you never go over a threshold
These are okay for general light use, but they have zero impact resistance. I’ve replaced this Steelex caster three times (made the mistake of buying extras to prevent downtime) over the past year. It’s on a Shop Fox mobile base for a 750 lb. woodworking machine. The caster is fine for rolling back and forth on perfectly flat floors. The first time I rolled over a threshold (less than 1/2 inch change in height between floors), the rubber tire completely shredded off of the wheel. If you’re going over any bumps, don’t buy these. Go with solid polyurethane or steel/iron wheels instead.

A Heavy, Easy Rolling Caster
This is a heavy-duty well built steel caster with a 3 inch rubber wheel. It rolls smoothly and the swivel mounting rotates easily with its ballbearing track. The listing rates it at 175 # which is more than I need butI am confident that it will do that job. It's a really good caster.Followup February 2016. After using the casters - lightly loaded (about30 pounds on each caster), one wheel developed severe splitting andcracking. The wheel is not rubber but is plastic with a rubber "tire" onits rim. That tire disentigrated after about 5 months of light use rollingon a smooth concrete driveway for about 30 feet daily...Not as happy as I was on first use.Update September 2017 Down to two stars. After abut a year, the rubber "tire" was gone on all of the wheels. The plasticwheel was now wearing away. The 3 inch diameter is now down to about2 1/2 inches and very rough. The mounting plate is quite rusty. Now, twoyears later, I am replacing the whole set of castors. They may be OK for a VERY LIGHT load on smooth hardwood floors but notuseful on a concrete garage floor surface with a load of about 20 pounds oneach caster.. They were over priced at $8.00 in 2015. Now, at twice that, theyare "temporarily out of stock".Take a look at the photos.

Casters Disintegrated After ~3 Months - Outer Plastic Shell Cracked and Fell Off
I was ripped off on the purchase of these two caster wheels. Like many others, the cheap plastic encasement cracked and fell off leaving behind only the center hard rubber wheel. This occurred just ~3 months after I installed them on my Shop Fox mobile base. The casters were loaded with ~70 lbs each (but rated to more than double that). Do not buy these casters and the same will likely happen to you.See attached photos as evidence.
