MisGod'ed: A Roadmap of Guidance and Misguidance in the Abrahamic Religions

Read the facts and keep your Bibel near with your computer to cross examen the writer. FROM CHRISTIAN TO MUSLIM!! AMEN.
Today I am 42 years old, I gave my heart to God when I were 12 years old (as a Christian) and I have studied the Bible so many times. Then I noticed the media talked so bad about Muslims. I did an artickle in my magazine about Mecca (some of my clients are Muslim and live in our community) and found with this article research, Muslims do believe in Jesus, but as a profit and they do believe Jesus will return to earth. Very unusual I thought. Then came across the testimony of Dr Louwrens Brown on the You Tube "Dean Show"; and studied Dr. Louwrens Brown's book Mis God'ed. What an eye opener doctor. Thank you so much. Instead of me searching you have already done it in the book! I did not except it easily, I also cross examine your writings with my Bible and internet access laptop next to me, page by page I studied.I believe today only in God, Allah meaning:The one God; for the first time I feel spiritually at home. God is great, His Spirit was always there from the beginning He was. Jesus is only a messenger of God and the same for all the other Bible figures we all know: Moses, Abraham, Noah, David, Jacob, Isak, Ismael, Salomo, name them all, they were the messengers to bring us the right way of worshiping God and nothing besides Him. Read Mathews in the Bible and pray that God will open your eyes. God talking to Moses in a burning bush..is that not the Holy Spirit of God?Jesus talked to the Jews and 88 times said I am the son of man...how blind can people be not to know where they will go after death. Isn't it worth while to study and make sure you are on the right path.Read this book "Mis God'ed"; and you will never believe again in "3 gods" but only in The One who created us, it will show you the faults, it will point-out all the falseness in the world, not by word but by facts. AmenFrom a Christian business woman to a Muslim woman. I will never turn back again "God willing" to life a lei. God is great, it is an honor to bow my head infront of my Creator, because He alone is worthy to be praise!!

Eye-opener on the history of Christian beliefs
Do you believe the concept of Trinity existed from the time of Jesus ? Does it surprise you to learn that the New Catholic Encyclopedia has the following to say on the origins of the concept of Trinity: "The formulation 'One God in 3 Persons' was not solidly established, certainly not fully fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century. But it is precisely this formulation that has first claim to the title 'the Trinitarian dogma'. Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective" ? Or that much of Christian canon, and the Pauline teachings from which they were derived, actually contradict Jesus' teachings ?If so, Misgod'ed is for you ... this is an excellent book that discusses various facets of modern-day Christian creed, the manner in which this creed evolved, the scriptural basis (or lack of it) for Christian beliefs as well as the position of Judaism and Islam on these creedal issues. The author has done an amazing job of writing about religion in an engaging, lively and entertaining manner that makes this book hard to put down. I strongly recommend the book to anyone interested in Comparitive Religion but specifically to Christians interested in learning about the history of their faith that is usually kept concealed and hidden from view.

Trustworthy and factual evidences... Great job.. Must read.. Requires open mind - open heart...
This book is a really informative source. If you have an open mind and open heart, you will most likely understand why the other "Unitarian" religions except for islam lost their path and what are the reasons for them to become its current form. If you want to look for truth, it is a really trustworthy source I could recommend after any translation of Quran. One who has an open mind and open heart, it is really easy to convince what happened to Judaism and Christianity. Please do not make a judgement if you are disturbed by what is written in this book. It is a factual source and most likely from Christian sources. I really appreciate the way Mr Brown talks and gives the factual information. Because of still-on media power being controlled by Western Society, Mr Brown is not celebrated as he deserves. When this balance moves over West, it will change. People need truth. And that is the thing you gotta check it out...

A good book
In todays world I feel like the only people that get heard are those who are more outspoken or opinionated, the average person who goes both ways is really unheard on. When I read this book I was at a point in my life where I was trying to figure out my purpose in life. Then I was watching this show I came across [...]when I saw the guest speaker was Dr. Brown who shared his own personal life story and then discussed his books. I bought them (Goded and misgoded). They were a breathe of fresh air. I really like books based on facts and that is what I found with misgoded. An excellent researched book that gives you lots of facts and presents them logically.I think works like this that are fact based and well researched without excessive opinions are rare and hard to find. I would definitely recommend it.

Amazingly well written
Going into this, I had lacked strong knowledge of how Islam followed through with the previous scriptures of the OT and NT. This book was very interesting to read and helpful for a lay person to understand, without having to be a person of strong faith or any faith for that matter. The book supported the scriptural errors and doctrinal differences that derived from non-biblical scripture which serve as evidence of misguidance in the Abraham religion. I really enjoyed reading Dr. Laurence Brown's book and look forward to reading his 'God'ed" book next. If you are interested in learning how The Holy Qur'an came to revelation, this book is a great start to truly understand the Muslim standpoint and perspective of the Bible and the Torah, as well as God's chain of prophet-hoods.

A definite challenge
This is a very good book that challenges some of the more complicated yet fundamental areas of Christian doctrine. While I would accuse the author of sometimes drawing too much on superficialities or making hay about simple non-critical variances in texts (is it truly essential to know if Paul and his companions fell to their knees or stood on the road to Damascus?) the essential basics of his arguments and his methodology constitute a real challenge to the Pauline view of Christianity and seriously unsettle the Trinitarian viewpoint. What is also refreshing is his actual knowledge and understanding of Christian doctrine and Church history. I have read a few Islamic critiques of Christianity and their actual grasp of Christianity is woeful whereas Dr Laurence has a commanding knowledge of Christian thought and history. There is much for serious consideration here, thank you Dr Laurence Brown

... the other side and do not appreciate all the good things that God has provided for us
If you are not God conscious and if you are still on the other side and do not appreciate all the good things that God has provided for us, dont buy it and stop criticising it. If you are guided one, you think logically with sound mind and heart, and had few episodes of privilege of being tested by your Creator a bit, I highly recommend it. Who better to listen to than Dr. Laurence B. Brown himself who has gone through so much in his life.Read it with open heart and mind and be guided. God bless you all. Peace
