LUXDMH110-A04 Mechanical Non-Programmable Thermostat; 1 Heat, 1 Cool

I needed something to replace a very old Honeywell dial type (old school mercury). The was for the basement zone and heat only although this has both heat and air-co. I usually keep the basement heat off, just turn it up when I plan to be down there and this is perfect for the job at a very reasonable price.It is very easy to set-up, basically you just screw it to the wall and re-hook up the wires and they give you wire tag stickers to note where the wires were on the old one and the new terminals have the same labels so it is real easy. I would highly recommend using the stickers, it is real easy to forget where the wires supposed to be hooked to.I did not even bother to turn off the system but if you don't do electrical work often it is probably a good idea to turn it off but it is only 24V so worse case you'll get a tickle but nothing deadly.The set-up is very easy, unlike my smart thermostats on the 1st and 2nd floors, basically you just put the wires on and that is it, although there are some adjustments like for temp swing but you don't really have to worry about them unless you want to.

This product is a fantastic simple, no frills digital thermostat. It installed very easy with my 4 wire setup. Easy on the wallet and is very accurate. The temperature displayed is accurate and there is no need for adjust/calibration. The main reason I bought this thermostat was for the temperature swing. What this means is that in cold weather I set my heat to 69 F and my furnace will only run when it gets down to 68.5 F and then go until it reaches 70 F. My older t stat would short cycle to keep the temperature constant and would run 4-5 times an hour. It is much better now and better for the furnace to only run 2 or 3 times an hour. I do recommend before you take your old thermostat off you take of the picture of the wiring. Also most dont like to but read the directions. It takes 5 minutes and may save you some hassle.**Update** 7/14/19Still working great and I haven't even had to change the batteries yet. If for some reason your still on the fence about this do yourself a favor and buy it. 18$ very well spent and I couldn't be happier.

Easy to install, works great, and the large numerals are nice, can see the temp from a glance at it, the last two three I lived with had small numerals and more smaller numerals and symbols, which were harder to see and the screen was a bit busy.... user friendly. Also, the cover comes off fairly easily, but not too easily, I have had thermostats in the past that felt like they were going to break trying to get the cover off to replace the battery. The slide switches are a bit stiff, not a big deal, as I don't use them all that often, sometimes I like to turn the fan on full time for a while to clear out the cooking smells, and you just have to kind of push them a bit hard, but controlled so it doesn't slide past where you want to go. Not an irritating issue though. Basically it feels better designed/built and more solid than others I have had.

I wanted a millivolt thermostat for my gas fireplace. This is easy to read, accurate and easy to set. I discovered it mounted nicely to the wall box that had housed a light switch. The device had to be mounted 90 degrees from top but works fine.

Pleased with this unit. I've used it to replace a much more expensive unit. Easy to install. I really bought this for the adjustable swing feature and it works great. It's easy to program and the swing is dead on. My house isn't insulated and the increased swing reduces the amount of cycling for my system.The large/lit display is nice and overall the unit looks good, especially for the price. Temperature is accurate, I compared it to a calibrated unit that I have. The "save energy" feature is also nice and allows me to quickly drop the temp (winter) at night or when I leave. Just a nice feature to have. My only complaint is that I wish the display was larger and showed both current and set temps.

This is a very simple and easy to use thermostat. I stall was easy, setup was easy and it has one setting I wanted the most SWING.

this is the second time I have purchased this Thermostat to replace an inferior mechanical on in a RV. This will do both Heat and Cool (if your rv is already wired this way) We do a lot of winter camping and the furnace does not cycle nearly as much as the standard TStat. Easy to use and nice big display so I dont need my glasses. You will need a basic understanding of how RV heaters and AC work, but there is lots on the internet

Easy to install. Also solve the problem i have with my old thermostate. My old one restart heating cycle every 7 mins in the winter time. For the lux you can adjust the temperature to let it run a little bit longer. And more time between each start.

Took a bit longer than the 15 min to install but once it was hooked up in the RV it keeps the temperature were you set it.
