After reading some reviews I worried that the pods wouldn't work well, as a number have mentioned them clogging / low flow, but I have found them to be great. My machine is a Krups Nespresso Pixie, you do have to make sure the handle is pulled fully down to pierce.The coffee is tasty, not full strength, but aromatic with good crema each time. Die Kapseln selber sind im Nespresso typischen Design.Mit unserer Kaffeemaschine ist das System 100% kompatibel und lässt sich einfach einführen und auch wieder auswerfen. Lavazza bewirbt die Kapseln mit der „Compostable Technology“ und zeigt im Inneren der Verpackung auch ein Schaubild. Im Kleingedruckten wird auf die EN 13432 hingewiesen und diese besagt: Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Norm, nach der Produkte innerhalb von maximal 90 Tagen in einer industriellen Kompostierungsanlage zu mindestens 90% zersetzbar sein müssen. Für mehr Infos einfach mal in der Suchmaschine des Vertrauens nach „EN 13432“ suche.Was für uns jetzt aber eine neue Frage aufwirft: Wo werfe ich die gebrauchte Kapsel den jetzt hin? Hier wäre ein Hinweis wirklich nett.Bevor ich jetzt auf den Geschmack eingehe möchte ich gerne noch etwas über unsere (Kaffee-)Trinkgewohnheiten sagen: Vermutlich wird mich der eine oder andere Kaffeegenießer jetzt verfluchen, aber wir benützen den Kaffee hauptsächlich für Macchiatos und trinken ihn selten (eher NIE!) pur. Gerne nehmen wir dann auch noch bisserl Aroma her um den Geschmack zu verbessern. Anstelle den Macchiato also mit zusätzlichen Aroma zu „veredeln“, war die Hoffnung, dass hier gleich in einem Aufwand hinzubekommen.Der Geschmack ist gegenüber unserer sonstigen Marke sehr, sehr sanft. Der Geschmack ist aber nicht lasch sondern gut und weich.
