I wish I would've gotten it sooner. I do use a web belt around it's bottom for added support. Doctors really need to learn the right way to perform a colostomy. And from what I read, doctors don't really care or they would improve the technique that is commonly used.

The belt I received has the ribbed side in against your skin not the smooth side. So when you sit down the ribs pinch you. It appears the Velcro attachments were sown on upside down or on wrong side of fabric. Hopefully mine was just a random error at the factory and doesn't affect all the products. Would have given 4 stars if it didn't pinch.

This is a great product; however, if you are like me, overweight since surgery, you may want to wait until your abdomen is a bit less round like me. Nevertheless, the product was designed to give your abdomen support, and it works well for this usage.

Tried 3 different sizes and they all were too small at the opening to pull my ostomy bag through. So far I haven't found one with a larger opening in thus price range. They do appear that they would hold up we all with hand wash and air dry.

I went based upon the chart given and the home was to small and forget it for fit. It didn’t even close properly it was like 5 inches smaller around my waist than described.

This belt is awesome,it does exactly what its supposed to do ,nothing gives more security or confidence

Very cheap, sent wrong size, hard to return. Just wasn't worth it. Ended up ordering through a Durable Medical supplier
