Why.. do I have this book?
Becase I have a membership with Kindle, for which I get books for my two little girls every so often. After receiving this book, I have decided to cancel the membership, since its not the first time we get books that don't add any value whatsoever, and that are not really for 'preschoolers' nor 'first-graders', and are not 'fun'.

Not a toddler favorite
I’m not sure the target audience for this book. A little girl asking why To a mean Villian makes him reconsider his life choices and past to be a nicer person. This went above my toddlers head. Maybe better for elementary school kids but seems more geared for adults.

Barely funny, hard to follow. Mildly interesting for an adult, not at all interesting for a child
This is terrible. I didn't even know what I was reading. It was nonsensical and not something that would hold my 4 year old's attention. Seriously making me want to end my subscription. A total miss.

Enjoyable for all ages!!
I gave this book to my 3 year old grandson for his birthday. His favorite question is “why”! He did not let me down and asked “why” on every page of the “Why” book-we both laughed and loved it!

Simple premise done masterfully well!
Bought for the funny, fell in love because of the sweet and meaningful message. Lots of ways to add open ended discussion with children but still has us crack up with every little why. My kids especially love when their dad does the evil scientist laugh!

Get it!
My daughter absolutely loves this book. She thinks the little girls one worded parts are hilarious. You can really animate while reading and make it fun for the kids. I always allow my daughter to say the “why” Parts and she dramatizes it so well lol!! Also the message Of the story is good too.

Don’t ask questions, just read this.
Hilarious and well-written story. I shared it with my son’s class and as I read they all chimed with with the all-important question: why? When I left the room, I heard all the kids questioning everything the teacher said. My work there was done. (Fear not: his teacher adored the story too).
