Premium Carbon Pre-Filters for Sears Kenmore 83157 Pre-Filter Replacement, 2 Pack

These pre-filters are well constructed. The only negative is that they are slightly smaller than their advertised "18.5"x12"x0.2". The width is closer to 18.25 inches. The pre-filter just barely clings about halfway onto the velcro hooks on each corner of the filter, but it's really not a big deal. It covers the entire filter area, and once the cover is on the unit, this pre-filter is not going to move.

We have three large dogs who sleep in our room, so a good air purifier with filters is essential. These filters work great and are reasonably priced.

These did not fit our air cleaner at all. Seriously it looked like they simply shipped me about 10-15 sheets of black wax paper. Or that black carbon copy paper. Not a filter at all.

The sizes available are about 2x the size needed for my purifier so I just cut them in half, a "bonus feature".

Great price and product....depending on your environment, these filter can last up to 3 months. I used to have to run to Sears but now I have a source and can just order online when need to resupply!

They are exact replacements for the Sears model. No difference at all.
