7-10% Arrive Damaged on 3 Orders
This is the 3rd order where every 10th-16th box has had what would be the back left corner brown interior fold line ripped so that only the white paper layer is holding that corner together. It is occurring so regularly and in the same place it seems to be something that’s happening when it’s taken off the manufacturing line or packed. Still it’s a loss of use for these compromise boxes unless you want to put packing tape on that area to strengthen that weekend area. Otherwise the boxes are very nice but I find that the tab flaps at the bottom of the unassembled piece, which tuck into the side flaps to assemble the box, are too long and you don’t get a completely clean look on an assembled box Unless you cut off the edges of each of those flaps

Not the best boxes, but they'll do
So here's the deal, I use these size boxes to ship my items (beaded trims and other such supplies). My go to boxes where out of stock so I ordered these. Whereas my old boxes had straight and crisp edges/folds, these do not. The edges are simply not as clean or align straight. Also, the lid keeps lifting open after I close it, so I must tape it shut, which is something I would've done anyways but its the box as part of the "presentation" that's the issue, it doesn't look as sharp. If you could care less about "presentation" then go for it because it is sturdy, your items will be fine. Hope this helps.

Best box my money can buy
A box is a box. Well sort of. These Aviditi boxes are all easy to assemble, a little folding like origami and your flat piece of cardboard becomes a box. It's easy, just fold on the creases . its all very well pre-cut. if you don't know what a box looks like before you start, well then you are in trouble.I found it useful with this style of box, to not fold the two end tabs complete inside, like in the photo, they are suppose to fold all the way over and touch the bottom and a small tab fits into the bottom to hold in place. what i do is wrap my item to ship in reused brown paper i got from other orders. and put that in the box. the end tabs then partially fold to be on top of the item. when the box is closed this prevents any item that could get loose from being able to fall out of box and it then only takes one strip of tape, start at the bottom on one side, go up the side, across the top and done the other side to the bottom. put the tape half on and half off when doing so and then when done fold the other half onto the front of the box. this totally seals the box closed and will prevent any items from being able to fall out. I have not had a single problem in 6 years of doing this and i ship several every business day.Their boxes come in many sizes, i have about 6 i use and that will fit a good portion of the items i need to ship in one of them. I prefer boxes over bubble bags as there is less change any item will get crushed or damaged. these boxes have provided good protection.I have been using for quite a while and will continue to use this brand. This one is my favorite for small items and a half sheet label fits well over the top with just a little extra white space folded on two sides. Makes for a nice looking shipment to my customers.

Boxes
I previously purchased boxes in the same size from Papermart. I was looking for an alternative due to the high cost of shipping with that company. These shipped simply wrapped in a saran-type wrapping, so I can see how some may complain they're damaged in shipping. Mine arrived unscathed, but I do have some concerns that other shipments may not, as UPS seems to really put my packages through the wringer. These are not as strong as the boxes I would purchase from Papermart and seem to have some inconsistencies in the density of the corrugate. I have a rubber stamp that I use on the inside flap of each box and with my usual boxes I do not have an issue with the design stamping, but with these there seemed to be an area that was lower than the rest and would not take the stamp, making my design incomplete and requiring me to take extra time to fill in the missing area. No matter what I tried, it was just too "low" in spots. These also don't seem to fit together as well as the others I've gotten elsewhere. On some it seems like the flaps on the bottom butted up against each other and so, when assembled, the box butted out at the bottom sides. However, there is also a significant savings with these boxes, so if I can figure out a way to make the stamping work efficiently and they can continue to arrive undamaged then they do seem to work as shipping boxes.

Something has changed
Been loyal to these boxes for my small business for years now - willing to spend a little more for nice sturdy boxes.Man, was I disappointed when I got my bulk shipment of 500 boxes and found them to less sturdy and harder to fold. Perforations are of less quality so folding is hard and boxes look less professional. Another customer called out spongey-ness and that's dead on! They feel much more mailable. Please adjust quality or cost to be more realistic: lower cost for reduced quality or go back to what we all loved so much!Hope to see improvements and that my product doesn't break in these!
