This jacket fits true to size, lightweight, very comfortable, perfect windbreaker over any lightweight shirt. My husband used on our trip to Europe.

Nice fit and style

I am a fan of this jacket. It runs oversized (making it great as a shell over a sweater or another jacket). It is very light, but thicker than a lot of the complaints make it seem.This is definitely NOT trash bag material. That was one of the worst exaggerations I read before buying, and it almost steered me away. I am glad it didn't.It is not a storm jacket, and is clearly for light rain. It is a rain jacket, for rain -- not battling hurricanes. You're going to pay considerably more for a storm jacket.I would warn that this jacket is not breathable. Thankfully though, it does have zippered underarm vents. Also, you could just take the jacket off if you get too hot. This jacket comes with so many options.

It's nylon so it's not as quiet as poly garment's so that doesn't bug me but some may not like it. I am 5'8" and about 160 lbs and the medium fits me perfectly.

I brought this jacket thinking I got the best. Unfortunately Eddie Bauer has gone down hill on quality control. My mistake was I purchased this jacket for my trip to Alaska and did not really use the hood as I would have if in a rain storm but when I tried to tighten the hood pulls they both ripped right out. What a piece of junk the two ropes that were sewn into the hood were attached by a single piece of thread that just came right out and now the hood ties are useless. I paid way too much for this jacket and now I'm stuck with a useless hood because I passed the point of return on Amazon. It's to my satisfaction to inform anyone interested in this jacket not to purchase. I'm done buying anything from Eddie Bauer ever again.
