Not too cold today but tested the beanie. Very warm, fit head well. Will need to wait for real winter temperature to meaningful review.

The hat fits low on the forehead and battery rests at the back of the neck. Ear area is warm, lining of hat makes it warm even without the heating element turned on. Light (red) on the forehead makes a small nice way to be seen/identified in low-light conditions (can place tape over it if not wanted).

I can literally be cold when it is 100 degrees outside. Every year I find more and more warm gear to help me face Ohio winters. This battery operated hat is one of the best warm gear products I have purchased. With a little unrolling, the heated part of the hat comes down all the way to the bottom of my ears. Wonderfully warm. Wearing this hat definitely extends the amount of time I can stay outside.

Love the hat. It is on the small side. It fits me perfect....not so sure it would fit a man. It warms my ears perfectly.

And I like them alot, well except this one. The black one. It seems 2 b too long so it seats over my ears, Alot! Then this beanie looks like it has a brim around it. Look @ picture) . It doesn't follow my head, instead it flares out like a brim of a hat 🎩 and looks really weird. I'm already a strange lookin old man I don't need help from this beanie to make me look even more strange. See pictures. The brim effect is noticably in the pics but the gray one fits perfect. The black one, not as much. Should I go for that look ? I just don't know.Ok! I ordered yet another one. I hope it's not stretched out of shap like the last two were. Oooooo! let's C !UPDATE: It took (believe it or not) 6, SIX attempts to get one of the old style hats but I finally got one. Omg! All but my very 1st one (purchased last year) and the last one were very over sized/stretched our beyond belief. Like I stated before I don't if that's the new "look" or not but it aint for me. Give me a beanie that fits like a skull cap and ill be satisfied, And I finally got one and all it took was 5 replacements. And of couse fighting with Amazon to get free return labels 🏷️ . I was patient for the 4 weeks it took to get the "right fit" (on supposedly the same item). So what I'm saying is just because u may get something that doesn't fit or looks stupid (lol 😆) don’t give up. The thing is I knew from a prior purchase that this company makes the item I wanted. This hat is very warm without the heat but adds a great deal of heat when it is on. I have used it in December in the Midwest with outside training. I rarely had to turn it on but when I did, the high heat setting was to warm. I generally kept it on the low setting when in use. So far so good, the hat has worked great.

Purchased this in an attempt to keep myself warm through my hunting adventures and cool temps. Packaged well, super-fast shipping, cozy interior, heats at ears and then entire head starts to warm up. I haven’t had a chance to try it out in the elements yet due to temperatures not quite low enough yet, but as I do, I will update post. So far, I love this hat!
