The cane puts itself together!
I couldn’t believe how easily the cane put itself together when I got out of my car. A slight movement from my wrist and it was ready to go. Separating the sections is usually easy, but occasionally it requires a little extra effort, but not a deal-breaker. This is my first foldable cane and I’m so glad I tried it. So much easier to deal with at restaurants, in cars, etc. Two wishes: the handle was a bit longer, and it had a built-in or attached clamp of some sort to keep the sections together when closed.

Not that sturdy
I'm 6ft 300 lbs , need a cane to lean on when I get up from sitting. I'm scared this will snap and break. I'm sure it would be fine for a smaller / lighter person than myself.

A winner!
Great cane! Very sturdy, easy to use, just shake out and it assembles itself. Sometimes you have to tug the pieces apart a little to fold up, but i just got this recently so I expect that to get easier as time goes by. There is a misconception about the "gel grip". It is a soft somewhat pliable plastic handle. It has give and is, in my opinion, MUCH more comfortable than the wood handle ones. I recently threw out a wood handled cane because it dug into my palms too much. This isn't gel like shoe inserts, it can't be too cushy or you wouldn't get a good grip on it with your hands. I bought one for myself, and a relative liked it so much i had to buy a second one. Beautiful color ( we got crackled blue). The cane comes folded in a plastic bag with a plastic spacer that holds it shape. I think that plastic is just for keeping it together for shipping and or stocking in a store. Once you get it you won't be able to use that piece to keep it folded. I did what others have mentioned. I bought some velcro, the kind with sticky glue on the back. I think i paid a dollar at a dollar store. it came with a strip with a smooth side and a strip with a grippy side. I cut the two strips in half. So i had two smooth and two grippy strips. I look the protective plastic off the back of the strips and glued them together, back to back. One side smooth, one side grippy. The resulting piece was large enough to keep the cane folded when it was in four sections, but not too long that it couldn't easily be wrapped near the top of the cane when in use so not lost. i had enough material to make us each a velcro strap. I hope that makes sense? It worked perfectly. My relative who wanted one was so impressed on how sturdy it was but also light compared to some of her other canes.

Impressive.
I spent a few hours looking for sturdy but attractive canes ( a girl thing) for myself. I have rather severe back problems and wanted one that was not only strong but had a nice handle grip. There were so many canes to choose from but most were by far more money. This cane does not disappoint. I bought a Drive Medical Cane several years ago. I have had absolutely no problems with it. It has remained strong but is now a bit scratched and because I occasionally drop it the wooden handle was a bit beat up.This one has a nice cushiony grip that is so much easier on your hands. I have to lean a bit heavily on mine due to a hip flexor issue currently. I find it is just perfect for me. The combination of a sturdy cane with a handle that is made with comfort, and dependability in mind is exactly what you look for in a cane. The price is outstanding, and does not reflect how very fine this cane is. I would absolutely compare it to more expensive ones. But the ergonomic handle is far more useful and thoughtfully made. For those that use canes daily, this is a deal breaker. Who wants their wrists or hands to hurt from a handle that may be attractive but not comfortable?Thank you Drive medical for the thought you put into your products.Only one recommendation. Make it in more colors I bought the blue one, and I love it, but I would love some that are a bit lighter in color. Perhaps even a colored handle that matches the cane.I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Packable!
I used the Drive walker and was delighted to find Drive’s collapsible cane. It’s beautiful and folds and comes together easily. I don’t need a cane much after my surgery anymore but got this to take on a trip in case of uneven terrain or fatigue. Fits beautifully in my cross-body bag.

Surprise! I get to use a cane this year!
Well, I did not have using a cane on my 2021 bingo card. One week ago I went and had a stroke - fairly mild as strokes go, but a stroke nevertheless. My right arm is functioning at about 80%, and my right leg at about 60%. So before I got home from the hospital I ordered this so it would be waiting for me.It's a solid product, made in Taiwan. Adjustable height, super grippy rubber thing on the bottom, and a comfortable hand grip. Collapsible for travel if that's your thing. Thinking about a top hat and monocle to complete the look. You think spats might be going overboard?

Ergonomic handle.
Bought this cane for my elderly mom who can be unsteady on her feet and feels safer with a cane. She likes this because of the ergonomic handle. It fits well in her hand, and she does not need to firmly grip it which can cause pain and tired hand muscles. It has silicone wrapped all around the handle which means you can lean it against a wall, like a ladder, and it won’t slide down and end up on the dirty floor. It is adjustable for your height and has a sturdy rubber tip on the bottom. The strap could be softer, thicker, and more elastic, that is the only drawback. I might change the strap for my mom, other than that this is a nice cane. Bought it in cobalt blue so there’s no mistaking it.

Nice cane but...
My wife bought 2 of these canes which arrived today. They seem to fit the bill. I can see the point of some reviews about the gawd-awful sticker (I'm going to try my heat gun to remove them). But am I the only one that wonders why a strap or some simple "elastic" device to hold the folded-up cane together wasn't included? I'm sure the hard plastic retainer is only there to hold the cane together for shipping, etc. Same goes for the clear plastic pouch. What's missing is an elastic strap to hold the folded-up cane together. Include that and I'll give you 5*.

Seem loosely connected
The cane clicks every time you take a step. The elastic seems too loose. The righting ring is only plastic. The handle is a little narrow to completely comfortable. The hard plastic ring to keep it folded downs work well for everyday use. The most disappointing thing is it isn’t returnable.

Love this
Blue Crackle: This cane is exactly what I was looking for. The color is great. The grip is very comfortable. I needed something sturdy, and this cane fits the bill. I mainly need it to step up / down stairs, curbs etc, so I always need it with me. I love that it folds down easily for times when I don't need to use it.
