ColumbiaKids' First Generation Redmond Waterproof

This looks like a very nice hiking shoe, although my daughter has not used it yet. I wanted to point out that it runs very large. I originally ordered a size 7 for my daughter who is a 6 1/2. It was extremely large on her and fit me, and I usually wear an 8 1/2. I reordered in a size 6 which fits her.

Bought it for my nephew and he lived it.

Overall good hiking shoes, they seem well made and comfortable even while breaking them in. The only issues I have with them is the mesh on the area above the toes is a little misshapen and the laces are very thin, but the price I’m fine with it. They’re for function not looks and I have extra laces 🙂

You do not get as pictured, pictures need updating to be the actual product you receive. Only had the shoes a few days, took them on a camping trip. Hopefully they hold up!

Size 5 (big kid) we got didn't come with the no-tie shoelace. They're regular shoelaces and my son said these shoelaces come off easily compared to other pairs he has. He is 8 and is able to tigh the laces of his other sneakers by himself with no problem. He is annoyed by the shoe laces and doesn't like these shoes so much because of it. I think I will buy some no-tie shoelaces for this pair to solve the problem.He said they're comfortable and he likes the looking.

This product looked of great quality; however, they were too narrow and didn't offer 1/2 sizes.

These lasted my son just over a year before we reordered and sized up. Ran hard and used them for brakes on his balance bike almost every day in the summer. The shoes held up through it all and only really showed signs of wear on the bottoms where he dragged them along the pavement. The sizing was a bit confusing so I ordered the first pair too big, but they were still usable from the get go so it ultimately just gave us more time before we had to replace them.

These are great for tie up hiking shoes. My son has never had to tie his laces on his hikers, so this was exciting for him to learn.If you try elastic laces they just don't stay tight enough to keep the heel planted and it will lift, so tying the laces is really the only option.Unfortunately the novelty of tying them wore off pretty fast and he never wore them when going for a walk, he would always grab his velcro top shoes.Columbia Redmond hikers are great general/basic hiking for adults, but kid sized version only works if you are prepared to tie the laces. My experience with the Redmond model in adult size was that they have ok grip but stay wet forever if you soak them. Stilla well made shoe though.

Pas de correspondance entre le guide pour choisir la taille et la taille réelle des chaussures qui ont été envoyées.Le pied mesure un peu moins de 23,7 cm de long.Le guide indique ceci: USA 6 UK 5,5 EU 38 2/3 CM 24 (photo du guide)La taille 38 2/3 n’est pas proposée (38 ou 39) , nous commandons celle qui s’en rapproche le plus « EU 39 » (EU 38 = 23,5 cm d’après le guide et serait donc trop petit).Nous recevons une paire de chaussures dans laquelle il est inscrit USA 7 UK 6 EU 39 CM 25 !!!A l’essayage, il y a pratiquement 2 tailles de différence ! (il y a bien plus d’1 cm d’écart puisqu’il y a environ 2 largeurs d’index derrière le talon)Très déçue car les chaussures sont d’une belle qualité, waterproof et sans couture à l’intérieur :(On renvoie...

J’ai pris ces chaussures pour faire de la marche ou de la randonnéeMalheureusement j'ai dû les retourner parce qu’elles me cognaient sur la malléole ce qui n’etait pas agréable pour la marche
