Easy to install, great value, and look great.
PROS:- GREAT VALUE! A fraction of the price of custom shades, these guys provide great value. More on this later.- EASY TO INSTALL! The instructions are pretty clear. Two screws, two clips, measuring tape and a screw driver (or drill preferably!) is all you need.- LARGE ARRAY OF PREFAB SIZES. This means you're likely to find what you need. Don't forget industry standard automatically accounts for 1/2" gap. So if your window is 70.5" order the 71".- AMAZON FULFILLMENT. If you need to dress windows fast, this is a great way to do it.CONS:- AMAZON FULFILLMENT. Unfortunately, there were repeated issues with shipping damage to the boxes of large shades (71"). Amazon doesn't ship product in their own boxes. More on this later.- Limited selection of fabrics/looks. This is due to the price point and non-custom nature of the product.- I wish the weight bars were a little heavier and used metal hardware for the caps/ends.See attached pictures. I tried to show how they control visibility, filter light, and look at night. I don't know why Amazon rotates some pictures, sorry about that!I purchased custom shades for my new home on the main living second floor. 8 windows cost me 4 digits. I didn't think to shop for shades on Amazon. It wasn't until I was in bed thinking about the day when the thought occurred to me. I spent hours looking for something that wouldn't kill my budget and that could be a reasonable solution to a problem I needed to solve. I still had two other floors of windows I needed to dress to help control light and heat as needed.Enter ShadesU(SA).After shopping around and discovering a few super insane budget friendly options, I decided to order a sample set of shades.I did have a few issues resulting from Amazon's handling of packages, but I contacted the seller and they were helpful and quick to resolve an issue that they didn't cause. I was happy I didn't have to deal with the return process. My custom shades took 6 weeks from order to installation. The zebra shades from ShadesU arrived inside of two weeks.I proceeded to install them. I bought a 71" shade and a 29" shade. For shades longer than 60" they provide three sets of mounting brackets and clips. For shades shorter than 60" they provide two.As they indicate, there are two mounting options:1) inside the window frame under the head (like I think most people do with shades) and2) outside the window frame (like most people do with curtains). If you're planning on option 1 (like me), then you only need install the mounting clips under the head.If you're planning on option 2, then you install the brackets to the wall, and then the mounting clips to the brackets.I liked these shades so much that I ordered 5 more for the remaining windows on the first and third floor ranging in size from 23" to 29" to 71".These do a great job and are a step up from basic blinds. Most importantly, I managed to dress 7 windows for the cost of a SINGLE custom shade. I have one more floor with hard to reach windows that I need to finish. I'll be using ShadesU for this project!I highly recommend these guys. Thanks ShadesU for being friendly on my budget and providing great customer service when I needed it.

installation notes
The blind is very nice, but the installation instructions are cryptic. Here are my observations that may help someone. I did an inside mount. The instructions did not explain that the longer tab on the C clips must face into the room. Otherwise, it is both difficult to snap the blind into place, and more importantly, it will be extremely difficult to ever remove, because pressing up on the long tab is how you remove the blind, but if it's facing the back, it will be difficult or impossible to access. The other thing I ran into is that while I was pressing upwards to snap the blind into the clip, I inadvertently pushed the metal weight that hangs along the front of the blind into the housing. I was unable to retrieve it by hand or with a screwdriver, so I ended up taking the blind down, unscrewing the end cap, and pulling the weight back out so that the blind will be able to operate. So, advice to slightly open the blind so the weight is out of the way when pressing it up into the clips for installation. As for the product itself, I never had one of these, and it's a clever design, that the opaque stripes are spaced on a continuous fabric roll so that as you put it up or down, sometimes the transparent part is showing on every other stripe, or if you roll it down or up a little bit, it is all opaques, filtering the light. The fabric is lightweight and I don't think it's going to add much in the way of insulation, but may reduce the glare and thus help a bit with cooling in the summer months. The mechanism to do this is a cord chain (plastic), that dangles down from the left side of the blind and has an anchor to screw it to your window frame. Definitely a value product, compared to the Hunter Douglas roller blinds I have in my living room, which are probably over $400 each (though much higher quality and heavier weight). What they have in common is that the shade rolls up into the header and doesn't hang down and isn't heavy like other kinds of blinds. Looks good for the family room.

Outside Mount Instructions
Mount instructions that comes with shade are cryptic, at best - especially for outside mount. I figured it out finally after 2 days and wanted to share what I learned so others installing as outside mount (on the wall above window) would have better details.Center the shade above window sill and trace with a pencil the left and right sides and top.Measure 2 to 3 inches in from each end - this is where your bracket will go as you do not want it flush to the left and right ends, so the shade can move up and down freely and be supported.Trace the BIG holes of the L bracket against the wall in the spots on each side you just marked.Screw in 2 screws into the L bracket on each side where you traced.Fasten the C bracket to the top of the L bracket into the little lip/hook, putting in sideways first, then turning so they are parallel with the larger end of the C hook bracket facing top/front.Snap shade in on each side from bottom up.Hope this helps!

Modern Upscale Shades
My window widths are 72 1/2. I read a few reviews that suggested rounding up, so I bought 73 inch shades. I mounted "inside" and they fit like a glove! No gaps. They fit so perfect that actually look custom made. I almost spent over $600 for custom ones. Glad I gave these a chance. Instructions could be more detailed. Shades are beautiful and modern looking. They came a couple days earlier than expected. Money well spent. Thank you!

Good quality
This works wonders at blocking the sun rays… we’re usually blinded by mid days by the sun coming in through our huge window. Finally I found these that could be customer to the sizing I needed. Amazing!! The size is perfect, the install was pretty simple too. It’s just so easy to use and works well with the modern look of our dining room.

Damaged
This is the second blind I ordered from here. The first one is perfect and works great. We have only had them up for a couple of months. The second one came with the box damaged. I should have sent it back, but other then a few scratches at the top (which is not noticible when hung) we hung it. The more we used it, which is every day, I noticed the broken beads on the floor. Well now so many have broke off that the blind does not roll. As seen in picture one, and that is just the biggest gap of beads missing. In picture two the blind looks warped, I thought it would straighten itself out once it was rolled up, but it has not.So now I have to buy a replacement chain. You would think they would be of better quality, or at least send a replacement chain included in the price.I did plan on buying seven more blinds from this place to have all my windows done in these type of blinds. Now I have to shop around again. Extremely disappointed, they may be the cheapest, but for good reason.

Easy & Straight Forward
We were rather hesitant to order any blinds online in fear of them being the wrong size or difficult to install. These we neither! We found an extended size for our full three panel windows & were surprisingly easy to install. Not high end quality but it was exactly what we needed!

Is came damaged and all installation pieces missing
Unfortunately these blinds came with the box damaged severely on one side. It was taped up with yellow tape. The damaged box didn’t protect the blinds inside, the cord was damaged and broken and all installation components were missing. I did receive a full refund which was very nice.

Good deal
They blinds were as advertised and as they were about the lowest priced one I could find from a North American supplier I was pleasantly surprised about that. Arrived a few days before promised.
