warm
Very warm and soft. I use these skiing and they have kept my fingers warm to single digits temperatures. I can't comment on waterproofness I haven't used them on days warm enough to melt the snow yet. They are very thick and I don't have much dexterity when wearing them. The inner glove is not connected to the outer in the fingers, so the fingers pull out as I take the glove off and I have to work them back in before I'm able to put the glove back on.

Decent gloves
I liked this product, but the soft leather is not suitable for work gloves 🧤. Soft dear skin will absorb moisture. If I purchased again I would treat with some saddle soap to better protect against moisture . Good glove tho … kept me warm. Could you please make one with thicker leather and waterproof for us working Guys ?

Hands run cold, but not with these mittens.
A few other look alike available here at AMZ. Purchased the Skydeer brand even though these were at the higher end of the price range for similar looking mittens. Most others had the glove vs. mitten liner. Prefer mitten liner for real cold conditions. Also mitt liner allows the use of either a glove or mitten style liner. Purchased one size up to allow room for snowboard wrist guards. Even without the guards the fit of the size up is nice. The size L seems closer to a size M relative to the other ski/snowboard gloves used. Allows wearing an inner liner if needed for extreme cold (-20C and colder) days.Build quality and materials looks and feels to be of good quality. No wear issues after +10 days of use snowboarding. Air temps -15C to -5C. Too warm a mitt for days warmer than -10C. Hands get a little clammy damp on the warmer days if I don't pull the mitts off on the lift ride up to cool off. Better option than too cold. Too cold to really test the waterproofness. No issues with snow. But I did treat the leather with NikWax leather conditioner/waterproofing.Definitely would purchase again.Fifth star if they last more than a season.

Too early to really tell, but warm.
I have worn these gloves once. I am a ski instructor. I need warm gloves. The one day I wore them it was about 25F and sunny. My hands were dry and warm while in the mid-20's but as the daylight faded the temp dropped to 20F and that is when my finger tips started to get a little cold. The gloves seem well made and they are very comfortable. Very good features too like wrist bands to tighten, cords for letting the gloves dangle when you need bare hands. I would rate them higher if they had kept my finger tips warm at 20F because they seem like a good glove for the money.Update - just wore these gloves in snowy cold conditions (17F) while downhill skiing and they were toasty warm and dry. Not sure why my fingers were cold 1st time out. I also wore them while snow shoeing in deep snow at 10F degrees with light winds and again my hands and fingers were warm and dry. So now I am upping my review to a 4 star. Very pleased so far and the value is very good.

A bit of a letdown
I want to start of by saying I had a very similar pair of deerskin mittens I purchased several years ago. They have a lot of similarities (deerskin, waterproof etc) to these mittens which leads me to believe they were made by the same company. I can't be certain but nonetheless this review will be comparing my old pair to these new ones. Even if they weren't made by the same company it still showcases the flaws of this deerskin product. I put these mittens to the test during our cold, sometimes harsh Minnesota winters working around our hobby farm property. These deerskin mittens at first glance look great. They fooled me since they look almost identical to my old pair. My biggest problem with theses mittens is the lining. They secured the inner lining to the outer shell in only two places, a small portion of the finger tips and the thumb tip. This makes for a very loosey goosey situation since the insulation is floating in between. Imagine wearing two separate pairs of mittens on each hand. If they had sewn the lining along the entire perimeter (like every other insulated mitten I've ever owned) this wouldn't be a problem. My old pair also had finger separators which further improved dexterity, and warmth. The lining is not as nice on these new mittens but I could look past that if this was the only flaw.I found them to be quite warm. No complaints there. They are also nice and long and they have a durable outer shell with nice looking deerskin. I also verified they are waterproof. So in conclusion, if you're simply looking to keep your hands warm and don't need to do much work with them on, you might be happy with them.

Nice gloves, need a smaller size
These gloves look well made, but the smallest size they have available (Medium) was much to large for an average woman's hands.

Inner lining comes away from glove when removing the gloves
They do keep your hands warm but when taking the gloves off the inner liner comes out from the fingers making it hard to put the gloves back on!

Warm, waterproof, and durable!
I almost returned them, because the leather palms were so thin, but the leather has held up really well! I use the as work gloves, so they get a lot of wear. They’re starting to show a little wear on the fingertips, but they’re still good to go for quite a while.Far better than *namebrand* insulated work gloves that are not water resistant at allWill buy again

WARM All Day In Below-Freezing Weather!
So, first the bad. These gloves provide ZERO dexterity, haha, so if you need to do anything even the least bit precise, you will have a very tricky time. They also provide no touchscreen sensitivity, but they’re not marketed as such, so no biggie there.HOWEVER. These are easily the warmest gloves I’ve ever worn. I’ve spent the last 2 days on a bike for 6 hours in below-freezing temperature, and my hands were perfectly warm (even a little toasty) all day long.If you need some super warm gloves and aren’t needing to be dexterous, I recommend these gloves 100%!
