She Speaks: Monologues for Women Revised ed. Edition

Fabulous book; fabulous tool. Purchased 'She Speaks' for my 12 year old daughter as a tool for audition prep work. She was caught up in it and is reading if first as a collection of short stories. My daughter is thouroughly involved in the book and will enjoy it as a preperation tool so much more after reading, feeling and experiencing many of the situations captured by it's pages. A wonderful work.

Unfortunately, the model of selected for women in this book are unrelentingly bleak - andronis in tirely from the Canadian social realism school.

This book is full of many emotionally-moving, inspirational and daring monologues. It's everything you would expect from Judith Thompson. I'm very glad to have it in my library.
