A Trainer/Facilitator/Teacher's Must-Have Resource
Are you looking for interactive exercises for your next workshop or team building event? Look no further than Bourner, Grenville-Cleave, and Rospigliosi's "101 Activities for Happiness Workshops". While the book is chock-full of activities (106 to be exact -- so you get 5 bonus activities), what I like most is how they are organized into 10 keys for happiness (e.g. - resilience, meaning, emotions). The authors even go so far as to recommend where in your workshop the activity will work the best -- at the start, middle, and/or end.Although the title suggests that it is a resource for "Happiness Workshops", it is so much more than that. Any learning and development professional, coach, or consultant who wants to add some creative, fun, and interactive exercises to their next workshop will find the book invaluable. My copy is already "dog-earred" in at least two dozen places.Margaret H. Greenberg, is the co-author of the Amazon bestseller Profit from the Positive: Proven Leadership Strategies to Boost Productivity and Transform Your Business, with a foreword by Tom Rath.

Psychiatry has so much to learn and gain from Positive Psychology
What an amazing book. I am a registered community psychiatric nurse, currently working as a health promotion specialist in Brighton and Hove, and feel that psychiatry has so much to learn and gain from positive psychology.Happiness Therapy should be given NICE approval and adopted as a clinical approach to help prevent and treat mental ill health.Anybody working, or studying, psychiatry, psychology or health promotion should study this book and implement the Activities for Happiness.Tom Bourner, Bridget Grenville-Cleave and Asher Rospigliosi share a wealth of experience and knowledge with the reader. They explain the complex Science of Happiness in an easy to read, practical way. This is still a relatively new science which will soon be as accepted and valued by society, if not more so, than computer science or chemistry.

A Feast of Inspiration for Happiness Spreaders
This is really helpful for me. With my business I often need ice-breakers and other longer activities that help focus people positively. There is such a great variety of ideas here that it will be an invaluable resource. It is clearly written, engaging and inspiring. I highly recommend it for anyone who runs workshops with even the faintest link to positivity. I actually bought one for work and then immediately bought anotehr for my bookshelf at home.

Fantastic
Fantastic book - I've used it for children's workshops and adult ice breakers.Have used the Happy theory at the beginning of the book too - very useful and resourceful book 10/10 would recommend to all. My Dad has used it for his meetings as ice breakers - he was reluctant to give me the book back :-)
