I ordered this cast net to save money on bait during our fishing trips. I was very excited about this purchase and could not wait to try it out. I opened the net and went for a throw at the lake. The very first toss into the water and the net separated from the disc that holds it in place and I lost all of the bait inside. I am going to purchase another size and material to see if I have better luck. With normal cast nets I usually experience snapping of the line at the bottom weights so I was curious to see how this particular net stood up in those regards. I am not rating lowest because I understand sometimes there are just faulty devices, I am hoping that the next purchase will prove to be a better experience. As far as the packaging and portability, this net is A+. I wish the makers of the nets would find a better way to attach the strings to the weight for better durability as well as the enclosure of the net around the disc.

Net came on time, packed nicely, even though it’s not real lead net was nice and heavy sank a lot faster then I thought it would caught a lot of fish so far. I use it everyday would definitely recommend and buy againUpdate - frigging thing is awesome.. definitely I’ll buy again amazon needs too get more in cause there out of stock I wanted to get a couple more just in case..... seems really light but trust me after the first throw it gets more weight to it cause it retains some of the water that’s the only draw back to nylon but other then that damn great job

So my friend and I wanted a cast net to throw from a small dock where we fish. This worked perfectly. The size is perfect, it was super easy to throw after reading a quick start guide, and the size of holes (which confused me really bad when I was browsing to buy a net) are perfect to catch "bait shad". We caught a bucket full of bait and had a lot of fun doing it.

Product OK, Carrying case arrived broken. After waiting 2 months not going to try for replacing carry case.

It is very easy to cast, the only down side is that it is light, so it doesn't go down very fast, but in shallow water it is not a problem.
