Dixon paint markers are a great product so this review isn't about the markers.We use Dixon markers to mark steel pipe at our warehouse. They are the best we've found for our need and I've ordered them from this seller several times. A box of 12 markers is nearly $40 so when i receive a box that says white markers but you can clearly see that the markers inside the box are blue and there's no way to contact the seller to let them know they have boxes that are mixed up that's a problem. Thankfully Amazon refunded the money.

Nice blue color. Streaks sometimes but thats ok, since it has a valve, you press in the tip of the marker and the paint flows out. Ive used 1 marker for 3 months now and it just wont die. I'm in the sheet metal manufacturing business. I use it to write out dimensions of sheet metal on oily, dirty, and oily surfaces that are caked with dirt. I used black sharpies and those die out quick with all the oil. I used the white sharpie paint markers for lumber and oily surfaces, that cant write on oil. This one marker was squeezed down by the forks of a forklift accidentally. The weight deformed its barrel and locked the ball in place. Squeezed it a little for the ball to start moving but paint just flows out easier when you press the brush tip. Like it just drips if you aren't careful. Better now in my opinion. The paint overpowers oil. It just wont die and i have 11 left to go.

Had to knock a star off because I ordered WHITE markers for the guys here at work. As you can see, the box clearly says white....but every marker was orange as a traffic cone. I don't have time for replacements, they needed these for an ongoing project. Guess that's just a risk you take when you order online. Other than that, they came in a timely manner, and seem to work great so far.

Husband uses these on job sites. We purchased the black and red. He reports they work just as expected. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

I love these. Mostly used for writing measurements on concrete curbs while doing utilities.

I work in construction and my main job is to do layouts and I had jobs where I have needed to write when the surface is wet and they have got the job done (however you cannot write anything under water or you’ll end up with a yellow puddle) the marks I have set on waterproofing, brick or even concrete have stayed there even after rainy days, sunny or even when worker have step all over the marks.

We have gone through our share of paint markers in our pipe yard. This marker is the best by a country mile (large margin).The paint doesn't run, the marker tip doesn't dry out over the weekend. The paint dries fast. Writes equally well on smooth pipe, rough surface, rust, dust, and doesn't wash off in the rain.Simply a great white paint marker. I highly recommend.
