Sea Turtle Porcelain Swimming Pool Mosaic (18" x 18", Green)

I purchased this to add character to my pool. It is really nice and it shows up well on my black plaster finish. It is a little expensive but I'm glad I bought it.

I purchased this large turtle and two smaller ones. They look even better when you get them. Wish I had ordered a few more. When my pool was being resurfaced, I requested that they put in the turtles, they all commented how great it looked when it was finished.

For pool decoration

I love my gorgeous turtle that I ordered from Meridian Tile! The thickness was great, extremely well made. Smooth edges and glossy on top. The color is gorgeous! I can't wait to have it put in my pool.The price was great and much better than what the pool company planned to charge me for decorative tiles. They were not happy that I'd found and purchased my own for much, much less!I would highly recommend this turtle and even it's smaller versions are really great!!!

This product has a realistic ink-jet printed surface which is baked on to the porcelain. Unfortunately for us, it is TOO realistic in detail and doesn't quite work with the other, less detailed deco and highlights we've put into our pool, but we were super impressed with the product, company, and customer service.

I was happy with the design & artwork of the turtle piece. The definition of mosaic is "decoration made with small pieces", so I was expecting many small pieces forming the turtle shape. It has 6 pieces glued to a netting to hold them in place; however, the glue didn't hold up particularly well in pool water. There are no grout lines to worry about. Overall I am happy with my purchase, though it is not what I expected.
