Boss 100w compact amp head that sounds fantastic with around 60 on board effects, there's nothing you can't do with it and a built in 30w 5 inch speaker for practice, just plug it into your favourite 100w cab, you can't fail, built like a tank, so glad I bought it.

I am a retired pro guitarist. I wanted an amp to use at home, that could be turned down without losing too much tone. Also, I had sold the effects pedal I owned, so I needed a few essential effects built in. It doesn't replace the individual pedals, but they work well enough, especially the overdrive. There is a good choice of amp simulations to choose from, to set the basic sound, before you personalise it. I paid around £220 from Amazon, which is an amazing price for what you get. I can definitely recommend the amp, for stage use, as well as at home.

these amps are a lot better than one would imagine, very impressed, has really good features and sounds good, only negative is maybe a little toppy on the treble side but can be adjusted easy enough...worth the money for sure

Got this as a prezzie- I have numerous tube amps multi pedals and guitars - This amp sounds as good as any I’ve used -the power down button is great as you can play at low level but no loss of tone you might dial in- got a good selection of effects - the reverb is sweet in my opinion I would defo recommend this amp as a practice amp - top notch home use - Boss have produced a killer amp - You will struggle to fine anything as good at this price £220 ? Man look no further,I have one point worth mentioning this amp does not have a send and return effects- so everything is straight in front end - however using a multi pedal with looper like a boss me 80 or other of the likes gives you everything you need in my opinion - you will be chuffed with the tube type sounds this Amp delivers- finally it’s very light niiiiice

This is an excellent amp, hugely versatile with great tones as presets and huge versatility once you plug in the tone studio. I’ve had it now for 3 weeks and only just scratched the surface of what is possible. The selection of effects once you get into the tone studio is huge including not only the great boss pedals like the blues driver, chorus etc. but emulations of other classic pedals. I’d highly recommend this amp. If you plan to gig with it I’d go with the 100 watt version for the extra versatility over the 50 watt version.

Just out of hospital and recuperating after a knee replacement so wanted something to do. I have a number of guitars so splashed out in this. Wow, I can create great tones and play as loudly or quietly as I like. It’s so versatile and I have so much to learn. Well built and it isn’t difficult to find help on the internet. Setting up initially took some time and patience. I’m pretty good at following written instructions but still failed to get it to work until the third attempt. The downloadable patches seem to be dominated by US bands/players but you can write your own. Just trying to dial in a 1970s Quo live tone. Might take some time…

If you have done your research then I need say no more.This is just pure gold!!Well made, substantial heavy cabinet, great looks and Kick ass sound!!! You can make it Growl or Scream without distortion!!Great in built effects etc etc. The list goes on!!!
