Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I’m a fan of the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1s - a brilliant pair of TWS earbuds, with virtually nothing to criticise right out of the box. However, these replacement foam buds are much better than the silicone ones that the buds come with. Unlike the much cheaper (currently £20) wired SE1s which come with an assortment of silicone and foam buds in various sizes, the Melomania 1s only come with S, M and L silicone pairs. The silicone pairs are fine - they work well, but the foam buds are a much better upgrade, offering better noise isolation, more secure in-ear fit and an overall even better sound.I ordered the L replacement, and you can see from the photos that they are a little smaller than the silicone ones. They fit my ears, and the case fine, though. Regarding the case, the silicone buds would just drop in and stick thanks to the magnets, but the foam buds need a teensy bit of a push. However, they DO fit fine (see video). Unfortunately, the foam buds only come in black, so you might not like how they look on the stone Melomania 1 units. Personally, it doesn’t bother me because they’re in the case or my ears - they’re never really on display.A worthy upgrade, but I do wish Cambridge Audio had included a set with the Melomania 1s.

I have ordered these in Large size having read other reviews suggesting they improve the seal and the sound performance of Melomania 1. They are absolutely right: the sound, and especially bass, has much improved.4 stars because 1) I find large foam tips uncomfortable, my ears ache from the inside pressure after long period of listening; and 2) the headphones do not fit the charging case easily, and need help to get in.No coming back to standard medium tips for me, but I will probably also experiment with third party options.

Needed these as the supplied buds were too small. Now these are available they should be included with the Melomanias as standard. They allow the bass to be heard and rebalances the sound to where it should be. They really emphasise how important having the correct size buds is to getting the best sound from IEMs. Without these I would have had to return the Melomanias, which would have been a shame as the sound is otherwise excellent

Make a significant difference to the already great earbuds. Frustrating that they have to be bought separately; as another reviewer has stated, these tips should now be included as standard.Memory foam tips ensure a much tighter fit is achieved. Noise cancellation (passive) is vastly improved, security (I.e prevention from buds falling from ears) is better, base is much better. Definitely worth investing if you have bought the Melomania’s

I was quite skeptical about these making an improvement....but they certainly have. The whole sound quality goes up a level or two, higher frequency become crystal clear and suddenly I can hear amazing bass! I feel like I've got a set of new headphones!I read reviews and was unsure whether to go for large / medium, I don't exactly have huge ear holes but people were saying going larger gave a better seal / sound experience. Yes they do, I can hardly hear anything of the outside world when listening. I'm surprised how comfy they are too, trying to shove them into my ear....I also feel like they grip better in my ear than the standard silicone ones that come with the headphones.The only nit pick things I can think is that keeping them clean might be a pain as it's not a smooth surface....and also, I'd love if they did these in white / grey to match my headphones...but I suppose these are the bits in my ear so don#t think you can tell to be honest.As I say, for the price these are a must have for me due to sound quality improvement and comfort!

10 means 5 pairs - thought it meant 10 pairs but it doesn’t.......

These are essential if you have the Cabridge Audio Melomania 1 as the tips don't last longer than 6 months in my experience. You get 10(?) tips in the box so that's 5 years worth of tips for a tenner.These are great as they are purpose made for the earbuds so you know they will fit and enable an improved sound experience.I really recommend getting these if you have the Melomania earbuds even if your current tips haven't expired yet.P.S Can anyone tell me where my earbuds are as I can't find them at all...

I am disappointed that I had to buy the large foam tips, as most earphone manufacturers provide a large variety, included with the product. I had no choice but to buy these because the supplied tips did not provide a good enough fit, meaning the sound was lacking bass and I had to keep pushing them back in. I am annoyed by the price of these, especially as they are a necessity (I’ve seen many people online saying the same), so in my eyes it bumps the cost of the Earphones up. Furthermore, I have already been through 2 of the tips as one ripped and another wouldn’t fit the earphone properly (it was covering the holes and therefore blocking sound). If these were £5 cheaper, I might not be as annoyed.
