Nickelodeon Butterbean's Café: Sweet as Pie (Scratch and Sniff)

Such a cute book! The characters are adorable! Items that are scratch & sniff really smells good! Great gift to give!

My 2 year old loves Butterbeans Cafe so I got this for her for Easter. It has been a big hit with her and my 4 year old. They love turning each page and sniffing the new smell. The binding and pages seem very sturdy so I like they will hold up well. The story is cute too and it comes with a recipe for chocolate pie at the end. I would recommend for any young Butterbeans Cafe fans.

My 3 year old loves the book. The smells are nice and have lasted well. This is part of our nighttime reading routine. Cute story and pictures.

Fun book!

Found this book on Amazon, but found one at a nearby Target book section. The scratch and sniff was not detectable at the store and neither is their book on Amazon. This book would lean more towards ages 5-6, in my opinion. The television show is great, but if you want a scratch and sniff experience book then WOULD NOT recommend this book.

If you like dumb books, then please buy this. This book was given as a gift to my daughter. It is twaddle. But then, our three year old watches less than three hours of tv a week. She does love smelling the items on each page. But even her three year old mind picked up on the mistakes in the books. Children are not dumb. Raise them on living books at a young age. We threw it out after a week. She would rather us read Beatrix Potter than this dribble. I suspect all their “books” are similar in quality.

My kids absolutely love this book! There are five scents, chocolate, vanilla, lemon, orange and strawberry. The scents are quite strong so they only need to scratch them a little bit to release some of the scent. They are hoping that the scents last for a while.The girls are big fans of Butterbeans Café, and what better setting for a scratch and sniff book! The story follows Butterbean preparing a pie for a picnic. At the end of the book there is a recipe for a chocolate pie! The girls were very excited to make this, and it was delicious!

3 year old Daughter loves this programme, so bought the book. Lovely graphics and a nice story.There’s a recipe at the back for a chocolate mousse pie which was a nice surprise.I made it with my daughter which she enjoyed and it tasted good too!
