READ before you try
Okay- people complaining about clumping or the brush.. they don’t understand the reasons why. It “clumps” if you don’t take care of it or if you shove it into the tube or pull it out too fast. This primer is meant to kind of condition your lashes, so it’s a little thicker than others. But that’s what makes it amazing. It’s SOFT on your lashes, and washing it off is EASY. I’ve lost way less lashes using this stuff. And the brush- LOVE. The brush is styled to get more onto your lashes. It doesn’t need to be the big base brush like other brands. I take the brush to the base of my lashes and kind of just roll the wand upwards. Not to mention there’s like twice the amount of primer in this tube. I’m very happy with finally trying Milani primer and this is now a staple in my makeup kit!Lauren

Nourishing primer
This is my second tube, I’m almost done w/the first one so I feel like I can give a good review by now. This primer is great, it makes my lashes look thicker & longer & also conditions them. I’m all for that! I’ve noticed my lashes don’t fall out as much when I use this consistently. There is a trick to using this, as it can be a little heavy, and hard to cover up w/mascara so you will get an ashy looking lash. I swipe some off on a tissue, & only coat my lashes from the middle up towards the tip. I don’t do the bottom lashes but I don’t see why I can’t. I set my lashes w/a waterproof mascara then layer on a non waterproof one on top that. It’s hard to explain but it makes the removal process easy & and extra coat really ensures any of the primer is covered up. All in all give this a go!

Messy, chunky, not cute, basically white
I got this specifically because I thought it would be more of a purple color. Milani really tried it. They slapped this color label on but it’s really not this color — it’s white with a HINT of color/tint. You absolutely could not rock this on its own.I also found the product to be VERY chunky — not hard chunks. I found globs of product would come out as I applied it, so I’d have to go over it with an eyelash comb. Yes, I tried to get all the product off while pulling the wand out — this product just has a weird consistency to it!I’d also MAYBE give this 4 stars because the end result looks good and does make sure mascara stays put, but for the misleading advertisement of color and the amount of work an average user would need to do daily (and luckily I am a pretty experience makeup user so I keep all tools readily on me and can think of solutions quickly) — I need to give a rating that makes it clear this product is not cool fresh out the packaging.

Tough at first but gets better
For the price this stuff is great. The brush is a little confusing and I wish it was all the long bristles were all around and not just on one side. Also right at first too much product comes out but once you use it for a bit it is so much better. Overall a good product for the price and helps lengthen my lashes.

Better than the leading brands at a fraction of the price
Exactly as advertised - volumnizes, lengthens, primes and defines. Definitely makes my mascara "pop out". I wear contact lenses and unfortunately am sensitive to many products. Have the Milani primer for a month, now, use it every day, no sensitivity. Doesn't clump. Even better than the very expensive primer I used until now. Love it!

Not Great
This product is not as good as Mabeline's tinted Sky High or Loreal's white primer. I love their mascara but this primer leaves a lot to be desired. The brush doesn't distribute much product, and the product doesn't go on evenly or smoothly. Not sure if that's due to the formula or the applicator. Can't get ample and even coverage over lashes for a good base for your mascara. Will not be purchasing this again.

Pale lavender primer
This primer is not purple but rather a light lavender. It gives a nice base for mascara to build on but is not stiff & sticky to apply. The lavender is much nicer than a white primer; it isn't hard to cover like white can sometimes be.

Almost white and clumpy
I don’t know why they bother tinting this primer as it is practically white. There is a serious need for dark blue and brown/black mascara primers. This primer is also incredibly thick and clumpy. Care must be taken to almost completely wipe off the wand in order to apply it to the eyelashes to minimize clumping. It is so thick when applied, it is very difficult to cover it up with mascara so that you cannot see the white peeking through.

Perfect eyelash primer!
Milani comes through again with this eyelash primer! It sets beautifully, looks great even after all day wear and it is super easy to apply! Plus the violet color is a bonus!

Ok on my sensitive eyes
I really like that this lash primer is vegan and cruelty free. Plant wax is used as a conditioner. The 'purple' is actually a very pale lilac rather than the violet branding colour on the box. Also, it isn't as white as my other lash primer. The package came sealed and very quickly. Although it was unopened it feels a bit dry or clumpy. I think this is what creates the volume and length.Overall it appears to go what it says. After I've been wearing it for a while I'll do an update regarding the lash conditioning and also wear-ability.
