AUKEY EP-B40P Wireless Earbuds (Black1)

I consider myself a bit of an audiophile. My regular cans are Grados, an Audio Technica, and the Sony WH-1000XM3 bluetooth headphones. I have been looking for a pair of bluetooth earbuds for working out or when the Sony cans get too hot on my ears. I've owned the Bose Soundsport earbuds and I really liked them until my dog chewed them up. I really didn't want to dish out another $129 so I tried a few out like the Letscomm (good but too much bass and the highs are muddled). I also tried the Creative Outlier Air and the Beben true wireless, both really lacked the clarity and punch that I like for my workout music (mostly metal). I have liked other Aukey products so I ordered these for $25. I was really surprised with the sound that came out of these buds. The onboard EQs are good but I like the Balanced option with my iPhone EQ set to Flat. The mids fight with the bass for clarity sometimes, especially when the kickdrum punches but it's not that bad. Highs are decent but considering I'll be running or breathing heavily while working out, they tend to get drowned out anyways. Still, the sound quality is impressive. I give the Bose Soundsport a 7/10 for sound quality and these would be a solid 6.5/10. For comparison, I've had the Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds and those were a solid 10/10 for me but they really can't be used for exercise as they are not IPX rated. Battery life is excellent, I get about 6-7 hours on a full charge. Noise isolation is good and you get a decent amount of eartips to try. You really can't go wrong with these. My only complaint is that the main volume/power module is on the left side when I am used to it being on the right and a bit lower on the wire.

I was looking for a pair of earbuds with volume adjust that would work with my TV blue-tooth transmitter. These work great as far as sound and being able to adjust the volume. I can even walk around most of my 2BR apartment and listen. My only problem is they won't stay in my ears. Even with every combination of fittings I constantly have to push them back in unless I don't move my head. Other wise I would give 5 starsUPDATE: After using for a couple of weeks I have to say that I do like these and they are better for noise cancelling than some others I have used. I have a noisy neighbor and these have come in handy blocking the noise. The sound is good and they work good with my blue tooth transmitter. I had some wireless earbuds and was unable to adjust the TV or blue tooth transmitter volume, but with these I can and that pleases me. I would purchase again4/11/20Good news in regard to the comment about these not staying in my ear. I have had better luck with this issue, but this morning I took out all my ear pieces and fittings and tried again. Come to find out that I was using these the wrong way. Now I have the right covers with the right ear fitting in the correct direction and in the right location these are staying in my ears, this was a relief to know it was me and not the earbuds.... these work well for me also for noise cancellation.Hope this is helpful to someone who may have seen previous comment.

Excellent wireless your buds for great sound quality. I love have any air buds everywhere I go. Since I already have several pairs I decide to buy this for Friend. It came on time and as a scribe. It’s gonna make an excellent present. These are good quality. Has excellent sound quality. Easy to store. Easy to take on the go. Very happy with this item.

Battery life when listening to music is not great. They are large and don't stay in my ears as others have mentioned too. Still for the money, well made headphones.Sound is better than 🍎 airpods. Nice highs , flat mids & punchy low.

The sound quality is awesome. Battery life is also great. I was surprised to see rich and deep Bass. Given the price, it's a must have gadget. The only thing is the ear piece rubber could have been better for comfortable prolonged use.Overall, very happy.

Updated Review: Customer support reached out and worked with me on a replacement. Battery life still isn't the best, but for the price it does what I need it to. Thank you for reaching out.

I am personally very happy with these. I use them 8 hours a day to listen to radio and audible and they are great. I tested them with music and they didn't sound quite as good as other headphones of this type and price range. But again they last me all day and Seem to be pretty well made for the price.

I really enjoy this product. It charges fast. Feels good in the ears. Sound quality is great. Also comes with a nice carry case. It connected easy to my IPhone. You will have to get use to a tone because it does not voice “your device is paired”. The magnet ear buds also keep it in place around my neck when not in use. I would order this again and give it to people for a gift.
