Does the red color rub off of raw rubies like dye? I don't think so. if it is actually a ruby it is definitely been color enhanced in some way. My only regret is that I let the return time pass because I left it sitting in the box too long before I opened it. So it's now mine forever for you guys of the fact that it may or may not be a ruby and definitely had some color rubbed on it. I put it in some warm water and dawn and the water was pink when I pulled the stone out, ridiculous.
