Firstly, the item arrived in good packaging, and before the delivery dateUnfortunately, when assembling the lightbulb, which is long and thin and bought separately hangs at an angle and not straight down the glass lampshade, I believe this was just a fault with this particular one, and I had to get in touch with the supplier to see what could be done to rectify the situation, unfortunately this supplier replied with extremely, rudely and disgustedly messages with this in mind. Please do not use this supplier.

We are currently doing a lot of renovation in the house and light fittings are proving to be one of the harder items to pick. The glass pendant light holder is 30cm long by 9cm diameter, it’s not the thickest of glass but it also doesn’t feel overly thin or at risk of breaking. The ceiling rose is 12cm diameter and has a nice brushed finished which looks great and gives of a real quality vibe. There are numerous holes on the fixing plate to maximise the potential of finding a wooden joist or just to add more fixings.  This is a step up from the strap base plate solution but in my opinion the fitting could do with a fixed connection block or something to help make safe electrical connections.  I am not an electrician by any means but I personally don’t feel 100% comfortable with making connections with just the plastic wire nuts provided, I would much rather use something a bit more substantial like a screw terminal block.The pendant lamp holder is nice and substantial feeling, really solid, and similar to the rose has an attractive brushed finish.It would have been good if it had came with a bulb but a quick trip to the local DIY store sorted that problem.Overall I really like the look and feel of the fitting.

This is a gorgeous industrial pendant. It is very well made and good quality. The glass is thick and won't break easily. My whole hand can fit in so definitely can put most sizes of light bulbs in there but the long thin ones look better. I can't wait to set this up in the dining room.
