Right out of the box, it is obvious that this is a heavy, well-made cowbell. I am not a professional drummer so with that in mind, most cowbells I’ve heard have a tinny sound that seems cheap. This sounds rich and full. I love the tone. Like the sense of taste, I’m sure everyone’s sense of hearing is a little different. To allow for this, the cowbell comes with two magnets, one heavier than the other that can be placed in different positions to alter the sound according to one’s personal choice or to fit the music being played. I didn’t rate value for the money because it’s hard to assess the value each individual places on something. I am reminded of the saying “cheap stuff ain’t good and good stuff ain’t cheap.“ There are cheaper options if that’s what you’re looking for but I don’t think you will be disappointed with this purchase.

This bell is very versatile. I love the finish and the look. The addition of the magnets are a fantastic way to pitch shift your bell.

This. It is an amazing instrument. You get the cowbell texture without the audience going, “HEY! The drummer’s using a cowbell!!!!” It is the most flexible cowbell I have ever heard. You can play “Don’t fear the reaper” and “Oye Como Va” ON THE SAME COWBELL. You can then blast through the entire 1st side of “Appetite for Destruction” STILL ON THE SAME COWBELL. Mike really worked hard to make this thing cook. Why are you still reading this? Go ahead and put it in that cart. If you don’t like it, then cowbell isn’t for you. I never thought I would be leaving a review for a cowbell, but....here we are. It moved me. Moo.

Looks great. Sounds great. This thing is beautiful. My dog doesn't like it very much, but what does he know? He's never even played drums. I like the tonal flexibility offered by the little magnetic mutes. Just stick them somewhere out of the way so you don't knock 'em while you're hammering away like a maniac. I recommend this cowbell without reservation. Get it and you'll finally be able to play cowbell songs without sounding stupid. Do you know where you are? YOU'RE IN THE JUNGLE, BABY!!!
