Good replacement Not OEM
Good Replacement Board for a low cost. For me this was a pretty simple swap. There could have been better labeling on the terminals as my prior board had labeling for the Hot and Neutral sides but everything mapped over well enough And I was able to figure it out. It resolved my issue where the fan would randomly run. After eliminating other sensors and switches I was left with the board as the final possibility. This seems like a solid board. I did have to drill a new set of holes to mount and the included clips were a bit awkward but overall this was a cost effective way to keep my 20 year old system rolling along.Cost wise this was about 50% of the OEM board and I like the led better.

Reverse polarity on the transformer leads
The media could not be loaded. This is the correct board for York Gas furnace model number g8c07516muc12g. "S1-431-01972-100 is a direct replacement.Your answer : "Yes, this board will work in your furnace. I researched your model number and this is the board to replace your original board. If this is the first time replacing your board and you have a problem getting it to work(i forget the error message), you will need to reverse polarity on the transformer leads. That is as simple as swamping the 2 wires on the transformer that lead to the board."My update=========1. You have to swap the (grey wires to the load in the transformer for reverse polarity). Do not change the hot(Black)/neutral(White), that may damage the board. Since, there are 2pairs of wire from transformer make sure you swap the load-wires to the transformer) in the front, attached photo in my case.2. The board is bigger that the old circuit board, you have to either drill holes OR use Cable ties to seat the board.Installed only today and running good...

Inexpensive alternative to OEM that worked, mostly.
As others have noted the AC phase of this is reversed as the self test diagnostic sees it. Easy enough to swap the leads, right? Except I pulled the lug right out of the 24V transformer!!!!!Had to order another transformer due to this design oversight.Stock transformer from York was $100 (those greedy you-know-whats) so found a multi tap one with the same VA rating on ebay for $20 which worked perfectly, just needed to crimp some lugs on the wires, it even had the same bolt foot print to install it. So far, so good. I'm finally warm again.

How to fix the 9 red flashes code after installing this board
Great value. One thing they don't have in the instructions is that for some furnaces (like mine) you have to do a little rewiring. If you instal the new board and get the 9 red flashes error (grounding or polarity fault) here is what you need to do.Upon installation, I got the recurring nine blinking lights error code which means reverse polarity problem or control board not groundedHere’s what I found out. Apparently, the polarity of the new, upgraded control board is reverse (in polarity) in design from the OEM control board. To get the furnace to work with the new control board simply reverse two wires when connecting them to the new control board. There are two 24V wires that come from the transformer to the control board. A light brown wire connects to the lead labeled “XFMR” (near the black, blue and red wires and leads)… the other white wire coming from the transformer connects to a neutral lead.Reverse these two wires…put the white on the XFMR lead and the light brown wire on the neutral lead….and then the furnace will work.

Great Board
My original control board was getting old on my AC (York P4HUC20L08001A) and the AC would randomly stop working. In the California summer heat, this is not exactly ideal so I called a repair guy to come look. He told me I needed a new control board and offered to replace it for $778. I kindly declined.I ordered this board at 10AM in the morning and got it same day by 5:30PM and installed it that night after the sun went down and the house cooled a little. Took about 30 minutes and was super easy. Works great, zero complaints, saved me over $700.

Works great as a low cost DIY replacement.
Perfect function as a replacement on my old Centurion (York) furnace. Price is less than the cost of a service call.My old board. a 6 years old Source1 brand (aftermarket) was not working and giving false error codes. Found this ICM2808 control board on Amazon at a good price, plus the 2-day Prime shipping was great. Most online places wanted 7 - 10 days to deliver. These aftermarket boards don't always mount perfectly but the top 2 mount holes did align and 2 clips are adequate to secure the board in position Just use caution and support the board from behind when pushing the plastic wire connectors into the sockets on the board. Connectors are a good snug fit. Only had it in service for a day so hoping it continues to perform well for many years. So far seems a good product with good performance at a great price.

Not reliable
Worked great, but only lasted 4 months before failing. Started throwing reversed polarity code.

Good for the price
The board made my furnace work again, but now it thinks there is a call for heat sometimes even when theres not.
