Max and NeoNEO Nylon Buckle Reflective Dog Collar - We Donate a Collar to a Dog Rescue for Every Collar Sold (X-Small, Teal)

I usually don't write reviews, but I have been saying to myself for 2 weeks that I really need to leave a review for the Max and Neo leash and collar because they are so fabulous and I am so happy with them. I bought the blue leash and matching collar. They have a little bit of a sheen which really looks sharp and my boy looks so handsome with them on. And I absolutely love the reflective stitching too. I like a simple, sturdy leash and this one fits the bill. There is just a little bit of padding on the neoprene handle which makes it comfortable, but not too bulky. The clasp is simple and seems heavy duty and I think it will last for a long time. The simple ring attachment near the handle works great for poop bags and/or a carabiner. I love the collar just as much. It has a durable plastic buckle, then a lock for another layer of security. There is a sturdy leash ring, and a separate loop for tags to cut down on noise. Plus I love the company's philanthropic mission to donate to shelters. All of this for a very reasonable price. I'm a girl that loves the look and quality of Ruffwear, but couldn't afford Ruffwear prices on these particular purchases. But Max and Neo did not disappoint! One thing to note - I really wanted a simple, affordable harness to match, which the same reflective stitching. I wasn't thrilled with Max and Neo's harness option so I went ahead with a step-in harness from Lupine Leash in a similar color, but unfortunately no reflective stitching.

I like the locking feature a lot. We have tried to hold our dog by the collar when she gets too excited in the car barking at any and all dogs we pass. But her old collar came open several times, and that was not helpful. The lock on this collar seems to be strong and has a good grip. It takes a little pressure to slide it open. I think more than just a pull. The color is beautiful teal. I like that it is a little bit wider also than her old collar. I would recommend this collar and leash to anyone. Thank you for helping the rescues.

This collar has held up well through rain, mud, surf, and many doggy play dates. The lock feature is handy, although I never had a previous clip collar come off accidentally. The collar size is easy to adjust. To wash, I remove the dog tags, put the collar in a small net bag, and then wash with other dog linen (dog towels) in a front loading washing machine. Line dry, which doesn't take long. I like the separate loop for the tags. The stitching and the purple color give the collar some style.

Good quality, they donate to help. The lock feature is very helpful. Nice colors, I’ve bought other colors. Highly recommended

I like that thecollor is adjustable with a heavy duty ring for attaching leashes. Also, the locking ability on the clasp. So the clasp cannot come apart.

My black lab puppy basically disappears when I let her out to potty at night. I added a light to her collar, which is great when it's turned on but useless otherwise. The reflective elements on this collar are so effective that I can find her with very quickly with just a bit of light, even if she's across the yard. I've had one of collars these on a different dog for the last few years and it looks essentially like new, so sturdy as well. I don't really using the lock feature as that kind of defeats the quick release element, but that's just me.

I just now replaced my dogs collar with this one but this is exactly what i was looking for. Strong and sturdy but not huge and bulky and no metal clip. Very happy I found this. So far so good.

Love the lock feature on this collar. Have received tons of compliments on the colour. I like that the size medium I bought still came in a 1” thickness. It’s strong and well made!

This collar is a bit fancy, perfect for those cafe visits with the woofer!
