Crazy value for the money, BUT not worth buying (UPDATED)
UPDATE--Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend these at all after many months of using them. The fabric that is bonded to the chamois begins to separate from the foam underneath causing this very thin fabric to bunch up on top of the foam. This causes MAJOR discomfort. I have never had such bad chaffing (that even caused bleeding!) It's a terrible shame because these shorts are killer in every other way. The fact that the fabric covering the foam of the chamois doesn't stay bonded for more than a few months makes them seriously uncomfortable and not worth buying. These are some really nice shorts, and a crazy value for the price. I have many name brand cycling shorts and bibs that don't have this quality of chamois and thick lycra. The padding is a bit stiff to start, but it does soften and conform better after washing and wearing. The chamois pad is dense so it does tend to feel a little awkward when walking around--kind of like having a piece of foam in your shorts! When riding there is NO problem at all. It has been comfortable on all of my rides (20-55 miles). I normally wear bib shorts, so this is my first pair of cycling shorts in a long time and I am impressed with the fit. I switched to bib shorts years ago because I didn't like the feeling that they were falling down. These shorts have a large elastic waistband (no drawstring) that is comfortable and holds the shorts up really well.I originally ordered a L and these are quite tight and compressive. I am 6'2", 172 lbs, 32" waist. The L are not uncomfortable, but are a bit short and very snug. The XL fits me better with a bit more room in the hips and more length on the legs, but are still form fitting in the legs. They are still a bit short for someone of my height, but that is a constant battle, not unique to these shorts (the L is about 10" inseam, the XL about 10.5" inseam) For the most part the shorts stay in place really well, even though the gripper band at the end of the legs isn't all that sticky.Overall the shorts have held up well after a few washings and the mixed fabric (lycra and double mesh panels) looks pretty cool, giving some texture to an all black short. I don't think I can notice any cooling effect from the mesh, but it looks nice. I've kept the L for the indoor trainer and ordered 2 more pairs!

Normally a Large is good on me - 5'10" 175 - an XL fits but is snug
Good value, feels comfortable and lots of pockets

Padding Not The Same
The padding is not the same as the bibs... Bib padding is better. Also, the shorts run small. I returned and purchased a size up. I love all the pockets.

This is a must buy. High quality and great price.
These shorts are a must have. I have been disappointed in the past by other bicycle shorts. And also the size range on other brands are quite restrictive. These go all the way up to 4xl which is the size that I got. Compression is great and the legs never roll up even under some hard pedaling. The waist is comfortable and doesn't shift during riding.I am a very large man at 6'6" and about 400lbs so these things have taken a pounding over the last few weeks. The stitching has held together after several washings and the color has not faded at all. I had a few other shorts from a few different brands and I had to throw them away after only a few rides. The quality on these are spectacular especially for the money. I just completed a 50 mile ride and I can say that the butt pad thing that's built into the shorts has helped me to get that far for sure.I have zero gripes about this product, there are truly no negatives. Do yourself a favor and buy these. Nothing comes close.

Best biking shorts for saddle comfort
I was getting saddle sore on long rides even when wearing double biking pants/shorts. I switched to these and they are extremely comfortable. Just wearing one and I’ve ridden a century with them. Night and day.

Good for the price
They work.

Good and fair for the price, but not expecting much
Does the job well for upto 5 hr rides for a 65 kg person. The durability is questionable, some stitching at crucial areas (around the thigh area is only single stitched) and the side pocket material easily snags. Pad is fine for rides upto 5hrs

Sizing is way off
Go 2 sizes bigger than what you would normally get
