From an adult perspective this is a pretty good Danish alternative. Each set comes in its own numbered bag and has separate instructions. The fact that the entire set is in a bag is a non-issue for me because it's at least a quality bag. I haven't built any of the sets but my daughter and I have built some other things and the pieces interlock quite well. From what I could see I don't think any of the other reviews have mentioned that not only do you get the individual sets but you also get 8 bagged Danish style SWAT minifigures AS WELL AS 4 weapon trees of accessories for them! The instructions seem easy enough to follow and I'd say a kid as young as 8/9 wouldn't have a too much of an issue. Whether you're thinking about buying this for your kid or grandkids or even yourself it's actually a pretty good value for the money with decent quality too.

The picture on the main Amazon add shows the “command center,” a large boat, a large plane, AND all the smaller 8 sets.What you get (as shown in my pic) is the small 8 sets, these can be collectively disassembled and made into the larger vehicles. Basically, they got me, I didn’t look at the add well enough. Shame on me. Don’t make my mistake.

Definitely a great value for the money. I’ve always loved Legos but my son is at that age that he doesn’t treasure his toys as much as he should so we end up losing a lot of pieces especially when it comes to Legos. It especially feels bad when these pieces are in a set.I was so glad when I found these because he can practice his Legos skills and I do not have to worry because they’re not as expensive as Legos.

Although these came in a bag that looked cheap and Chinese writing all over it, they are absolutly amazing!!!!!

These were better than I expected for being off brand. Nothing compares to lego, but for the price, this was great.

It's a nice set and a decent value. The big chinese writing all over the plastic bag that it comes in (not a box) makes it look like a cheap gift. I would recommend it based on quality of the pieces and price.

Not impressed with it coming in a bag but it also was 18$ I haven't opened it yet because it's a Xmas present for my son but let's hope the instructions are in english

Same quality as legos for half the price! Price point blows the competition out of the water.
