I use the green ones to cap my portable air compressor hose outlets to keep dirt out when transporting it. Also some on air hoses as well.

Great for automotive use
Got them to cap lines when working on trucks. They tend to stick after put on but durable enough to be peeled off. Recently used to plug and cap lines and ports for a fuel sender on a duramax that was really dirty.

Handy as a bundle of zip ties
I've used these to cap vacuum lines and oil/coolant lines on uninstalled parts that I didn't want leaking, also found the smaller caps useful for covering unused power connectors on the Boss pedal power extension cord since those like to come in contact with nearby metal objects and cause issues.
