Large, attractive blanket, but it sheds like a mofo!

i want to love this. i really really do. it's super soft, cozy, and looks great. but this thing sheds more than 10 cats. i wake up every morning with a mouthful of alpaca hair (and i don't even sleep with it!) every time i eat, i'm pulling alpaca hair out of my mouth. my clothes are always covered in tufts of alpaca hair. it's absolutely maddening. i've washed it 3 times so far, and it hasn't helped. i'll give it a couple more washes before i give up, but i suspect this is going to end its days sealed in a plastic bag and stuffed deep in a closet.

Got this today and I love it already. It's nice and big enough for the sofa, long enough to cover me, and incredibly soft. Man, those alpacas must be the softest animals on earth. It's light yet sufficiently warm. I got the camel/sky blue (gray and tan). I was looking for something with a red accent stripe but not something totally red. So, I wish I could have found the exact colors I wanted but I'm still loving this blanket.

Silky smooth material. Very soft. It is much thinner material than I thought it would be. Closer to the thickness of a sheet than most blankets. Despite being thin it pretty warm considering. I should note that we do live in Florida. Works good for a throw to cuddle with on the couch.

Colors are amazing and material very soft. Gets a bit fuzzy after a wash. Probably shouldn't have washed it.

This blanket is as soft as a chinchilla, which is softer than kittens and Kenny G with a soy latte. Sheds like crazy at first. a couple of gentle washes and it’s all good

I absolutely love these blankets. I got one as a gift and haven’t stopped using it. I bought two more for my couch and am now only using these. They are so soft and just the perfect weight. Cleaning is easy (cold wash low gentle dry). My little dog wants to take it for himself too. Definitely recommend !
