It's a wall mount
I was looking for a simple, and inexpensive wall mount for a 21 inch flat screen. The AVF looked like the right one. Some other types were either too complicated to install, too expensive or just did not work well holding up the TV. This AVF was easy to install if you have the right tools. You need a small socket wrench, screw driver and a drill is helpful. Place it where you want it, keeping in mind where the screws on the mount match up to the TV. Mine were on the top third of the set, so I had to take that into account when I located the wall plate. Use a level to get the wall plate correctly aligned, mark the holes and then drill, screw and tighten to the wall. The TV bracket fits holes on the back of my TV (some others brands did not per the Amazon reviews). I learned that prior to mounting the TV, you should tighten the nuts on the bracket that allow the TV to swivel up and down. Once on the wall, a socket wrench is about the only way to "set" the nuts so the TV stays at the angle you want and does not droop. The mount does NOT swivel side to side, but that is stated in the product description and met my needs.Note: I bought this because reviews of other brackets stated it was hard to plug in or unplug cables once the TV was mounted. This is not an issue with the AVF. In fact, you might find that it sticks out TOO far from the wall. The mount is 2 1/2 inches deep, so my flat screen does not look like a picture frame on the wall. Fine with me as my fat hands can reach behind it to plug in a head phone or unplug the power with no need to remove the TV from the bracket. One other note: the TV bracket has yellow clips which keep the two parts engaged. You have to release these clips if you want to remove the TV from the wall bracket. These work as designed, but you have to remember to release them if you want to take the set down from the bracket. They can be hard to reach, but the distance from the wall is again helpful. For the money, this is a great product for a smaller sized TV. I'd knock off 1/2 star for the box wrench issue, but if you have a well equipped tool box, you will probably be ok.

Its cheap !
OK I was not expecting much, but when the secure screw breaks that connect the wall bracket to the VESA bracket its pretty much time to just bin it. It is thin, but the VESA and the wall bracket also have a lot of play in them so the securing screw is key. But even then it still moves. I'm sure it could be alot better. But well mine was not up to the mark.

Solid. Excellent quality and price.
In a word: SOLIDThis wall mount is a darned good deal for an incredible price (btw, it's at least $40 higher at a local electronics marketplace in Minnesota). Hard to find one at this price that not only extends outwards and swivels left/right, but also tilts -- all with ease -- and this one fits the bill. I have a 24" Sansui HDTV that weighs (per specs) 8.0 lbs or 3.5kg, and this mount is perfect. Yes, the VESA mounting pattern had me concerned because I didn't know what that meant, but it fit my Sansui perfectly, and is a 4"x4" pattern; plus the bracket-plate on the mount has two holes on the top and two elongated slider holes on the bottom (see image) to accommodate from 4"x3" to 4"x4" hole separations. According to the information from AVF, this mount holds up to a 25", 33 lb TV.It's very fluid in movement, no grinding or gnashing of cheap parts, as everything about it smacks of quality. Like I said, it's solid. And it does require assembly... a lot of assembly. One reviewer wrote that the instructions were intimidating. I tend to agree, and I've included an image of the instructions as part of the "customer images." They are diagrammed only; no words, so you best be mechanically inclined and patient. That said, the thing is actually fairly easy to put together if you can get past the incredibly detailed illustrations. I'd estimate that after I laid out all the pieces and parts on the floor; determined where I wanted it on the wall and found the stud behind the sheetrock (which you definitely must use for secure mounting), it took me about 35 minutes to assemble and put into place.

Works well, a little give, but safe
I am using this with an Insignia 19" LCD, mounted onto a concrete wall. I used my own wall anchors and hardware although the two screws and plastic anchors included are adequate for wall studs (wood). There is a slight amount of give as I can grab the TV frame and rotate it ever so slightly clockwise and counterclockwise. But this was actually good just in case your mounting job was slightly less than perfect. You screw a left and right bracket onto the back of the TV (4 screws were included), hang the TV at the top of the bracket (you have one place at the top to hang it (it's notched and you don't see this in the amazon image, but there is no lateral leeway, so mount it exactly where you want it), snap the lower end down until the 2 yellow plastic tabs which cover the lower part of the bracket on the wall "click". These plastic yellow tabs can slide off if you need to remove the TV from the bracket.Works just fine, just wished the bracket was a couple of inches wider so you could slide the TV left and right a bit, but no complaints here. Worth the $15 instead of the outrageous prices at Bust Buy :)Also, it was packed in the smallest possible box, everything just fit, there was no packaging waste other than the box that *that* came in.

VERY Low Profile
Very low profile. Almost invisible. My only complaint is that it was so low profile I couldn’t put the bottom screw in to secure the TV 100%. It’s about 95% secure, as long as the earth doesn’t start jumping. Would buy again

Step Five is a pain!!
Step 5 is impossible. The screw that keeps the tv from moving is impossible to get at any angel. Good luck.

Super cheap, and it works!
Needed a tiny mount for a tiny 19 inch TV and this fit the bill. No tilting needed. Just needed to sling a TV onto a wall, and this fit the bill. Saved me at least $20 over a larger mount.

Saludos
