I have purchased these fruit slices twice. The first box had the slices organized into layers with cardboard separators between layers. The fruit slices were a bit hard and somewhat dry. The second box was full of individually wrapped slices, which where thrown in the box without any organization. The wrapped slices were moist and soft (better). Idon't know why they were different.The other issue I have with the product is the mix of flavors in the box. Both boxes contained very few of the lemon. lime, and orange flavors. They contained tons of the watermelon flavor, as well as many more blue raspberry and cherry. Unfortunately, the watermelon flavor is my least favorite flavor followed by the cherry and and blue raspberry. The mix in both boxes was really lopsided.Don't get me wrong. Fruit slices are one of my very favorite candies. I was just really dissatisfied by the inconsistency, dry and hard consistency of the first box, and by the lopsided mix. They would be so much better without these problems. WIthout these issues I would rate them a "5" instead of a "3. I' really disappointed in what has happened to this personal favorite.

These fruit slices were very good. There was a variety of flavors. All flavors shown were included but there was a preponderance of cherry, a lot of blue raspberry and watermelon, less orange, and very few lemon and lime. Wish the variety had leaned the other way as the cherry was good but probably our least favorite. They came packaged in a nice white cardboard box and individually wrapped in plastic. Very fresh. This is A LOT of candy.

These arrived in a taped box to keep them fresh, and with paddind in another box. I was surprised at the care it was pack with. The fruit slices came in 6 flavors, blueberry or raspberry, cherry, lemon, orange, lime & watermelon. They were neatly lined up on waxed paper and placed layer upon layer in the box. Although it's not perfect, the flavors seem to be fairly evenly distributed. They have the best flavors of all the fruit sslices that are sold here!

I had intended to give these as gifts but cannot as they were not individually wrapped. Worse, I couldn't even eat them myself either as the box was literally wide open, plastic cut open, candies visible from the outside, and several of the top layer in the box missing. I have tried reaching out for a return but I keep getting the message "this item not eligible for return." Not even after it arrived clearly tampered with. I am so disapointed.

I ordered 2 -1 pound bags of Boston Fruit Slices from this seller, They were a 5 star candy inevery way. The one pound bags were the real fruit slice, so I ordered this 5-pound box, ( a littleless expensive ). I received ( NOT) Boston Fruit Slices ), don't know what brand it is, was advertisedas Boston Fruit Slices. This was clear jelled something you can see through, tastes like chemistry 101.Somebody is GOING to give my money back. This is genuine deception, sending something thatwas not what was ordered. ( Should be illegal to sell this, whatever it it is...

I actually bought these for my brother but needed to make sure there were no grapefruit ones. He is recovering from major surgery and some fruit slices he had were something he would eat. These are wonderful!!! Much better than whatever kind he had. I'm keeping this box and sharing them with some Amish friends. They are fresh. not stiff and stale, and the flavors are great. I'm not normally a real sweets person but I love these. They are made in USA.

Bought for my dad for his bday. He is a candy snob and loves fruit slices but is usually disappointed until trying these. My dad loves them and wants for Xmas too. Lol

We bought these last year and my family has favorite flavors. Certain flavors are better than others. The watermelon one was absolutely sour like it was vinegar flavor this year. Last year it was good. This year they seem cheaply flavored and just strange. Not even sweet. Flavors off. Pretty obvious they didn't taste test any of them.They get three stars because last year they were good. Something changed.
