Our earth is worth saving.
I’m giving this book as a gift to my son and to my boss because it is so good. I first read it when it came out in the 90s and laughed my head off like everybody else. That’s of course why it was number one on the bestseller list for travel books . Get it and read it. You’ll laugh till you cry and you will want to walk the trail.

Gift
Son-in-law loved it.

Bryson's best
This book was on audio and I've listened to the story more X's than any other read. Bryson just puts me into a good mood period. His comical way of storytelling, especially when Katz is concerned is on the ground laughing. Must admit I prefer the audio book to the movie, even if it was Robert Redford. [Bryson is sexier 🤷🏼♀️]

A fabulous book.
Acting, script. Not to be missed. It made for an excellent movie as well.

Comedy Central
I loved walking the woods with these guys! After I did the audio book, then I watched the movie and was not disappointed.

POOR PAPER QUALITY
I was disappointed with the poor quality of the paper and the small size of the print. If I had been able to handle the books, I would have purchased a different edition of this book.

A lot of lecturing.
The funny parts were few and far between. Lots of statistics on how humans have destroyed the Ap. Trail

Bad quality
The book description said 'real photographs' but they look like someone has photocopied them, (very badly as they are blurred) in black and white. The text alongside the photo's is nice. I wanted it as a factual book for preschool children, unfortunately it wouldn't keep their interest for two minutes! I have returned it.
