Rockport Slip-On Loafer, so good I bought a second pair!
Okay... I bought a pair a few years ago..... 2 years 9 months or so ago, I typically bought the "suede leather" slip on Moc's from that big box store or the outdoor store that also sells guns, but I was lucky to get 6 months before they started to have seams come apart and 9 months ready for the trash. I was pleasantly surprised to get such long wear out of the Rockport Slip-On Loafers over 2 years before I started to loose seams, the soles were getting thin after 2.5 years of wearing them on rocks, gravel, mud, screw(not hard enough to keep nails and screws from penetrating soles at that age.) water, grease and oil. I bought a new pair because my feet were getting wet from the leaky seams and holes in the sole, I still wear them outside on dry days I need to get dirty. I would recommend Rockport Slip-On Loafers to anybody who is rough on shoes , they are comfortable, and last a long time.

Well made, good looking, and comfortable shoes, but...
These are well made, Rockport-quality shoes.Pros: Light weight, comfortable to walk and even run, good looking, well constructed and designedCons: Doesn't breathe and very warm if continually worn indoors or in weather above 60 degrees F.I would have given 5 stars, but the shoes do not breathe and stay warm. Not a problem in cool weather under 60 degrees F., but anything above, your feet will be warm, sweat, and start to smell bad. I wore these on an international trip with long flights. The weather was above 60 F. and meetings were all day indoors. My feet were constantly warm and wet, and after having worn these for about a week, these shoes started to smell very bad. If you wear these outside in cooler or colder weather, they should be fine. But wearing them indoors even with thin socks would retain too much heat, wouldn't dry quickly enough, and would result in bad smells rather quickly. I wish they had built in a couple of air holes somewhere in order for the shoes to breathe better and dry inside more quickly. Because these are not boat shoes and have higher ankles, that adds to the warmth and unbreathable nature of the shoes.Besides the warmth, the shoes are very comfortable to walk around in or stand on.

Fake leather will crack within weeks, crap quality, but fit is fine.
First off, believe the reviews when they describe the poor quality of the fake leather and the material cracking within the first month! I thought the reviews were simply a one-off mistake or there was something the author was hiding. I started wearing these Mar 1, my shoes started cracking in the faux leather area on the sides within the first few weeks. By the end of March they were starting to peel. Now, mid April they look like crap, unacceptable if you need these shoes at least look some what presentable if you are seen in public. I work at a hotel, and walk around moderately (1-2miles), sit at desk most of the time. BUT, I do need a shoe that presents well, or at least doesn't make me look like I can't afford good shoes. I guess I Iearned the hard way, you get what you pay for. Should have gone with the 2bike loafers again. If walking around in cracked/peeling material shoes doesn't bother you or not going to be seen by the public, these shoes are great. The shoes fit fine, are quite comfortable and otherwise good. I've had Rockport 2bike slip-on Oxfords, which were great and all leather. I decided to try this Get your Kicks loafer and researched quite a bit. I saw a few reviews about the cracked material, took a risk bcuz the price was good. Anyways hope this helps someone, who may actually read this far.

Make sure to order wide, these are keepers
Glad I read reviews to order wide. I'm a standard size so it would have been too tight. I normally wear sketchers which are relaxed fit. I don't get wide fit ever. I where clarks as well but decided to try Rockport again from good past experiences. Didn't like what sketchers had to offer right now. Only thing I don't like about these are the gap on the outside edge shown in the picture. Inside edge is fine. They're lightweight, comfortable, don't slide up my heal when I walk and nice looking. They hit all my marks so I'm keeping. Main reason i had switched from rockport to sketchers years ago was price. I also discovered sketchers outer heal wears the best but it's been a few years since buying sketchers so maybe that's changed. All other brands the outer heal wears. Guess it's the way I walk. Shoes don't last over a year anymore anyway so I try to stick around $50. Thanks for letting me share.

Great looking shoes - very, very comfy
I love these Rockport shoes so much, I purchased a second pair for when my first pair wears out.Unfortunately, the prices of these on Amazon have gone dramatically higher since my first purchase, so I had to order the subsequent pairs directly from Rockport. But quality and looks wise, these are wonderful: Really, really comfortable through my entire workday even when I'm standing on my feet all day long. And nice looking enough to wear with "business casual" or even with a sports coat at work. I've come to trust the Rockport brand for high quality, consistent fit throughout their different models, and really good looks if you tend toward a "conservative yet unique" look. I just wish the prices wouldn't go up on Amazon when the ratings go up -- it ALMOST makes me want to avoid giving a truthful review.

Wide enough, but not tall enough
I love most every pair of Rockports I've ever owned - from boots to dress shoes. These shoes are great Rockport quality just as you would expect. They good looking and comfortable to walk on. I need the extra width and they are truly wide shoes. However, they are not "tall" enough. The tongue height is too short, making the shoes way too tight. After 10 minutes of just sitting, I was wanting to take them off and it was actually hurting the top of my feet. Two different pairs (slightly different style) were the same way. Unfortunate. Had to send them back - just too uncomfortable for my feet.

Contrary to other reviews, these are genuine leather. Leightweight, supremely comfortable.
I have a lot of Rockport shoes. Mostly Oxfords, for business wear. They've all been supremely comfortable, and lightweight. Butter-soft, but hardwearing leather. Supportive footbase. Never had to "break a pair in", just put them on and go.The Rockport idea seems to be to take trainers technology, and apply it to elegant shoes. And, they've mastered that. (Some of their lines use Adidas footbases...)Other reviews say that these are "synthetic outers", but they're not. The bits that look like leather, are leather. They bits that look like elasticatic fabric are elasticated fabric.Overall, very high quality, both in comfort, and looks.

SIzing
I have a similar looking Rockport shoe that has a 13 M label on the inside so I purchased this shoe in a 13 M.The fit is not even close. This shoe is at least one size, if not two sizes too small. Also I just checked their sizing chart and it states that 13 M should fit a foot that's 12" long. I measured the length of my foot from toe to heel and it seems a tad under 12" so this shoe should fit but it doesn't.Disappointed in the sizing discrepancy. I was hoping to save some time and not have to go to the store but it seems I have to take half a day to go and try on shoes at the Rockport store. I would rather be doing something else.

Universal. You can wear it for many occassion
I volunteer as security in church on Sundays. This goes well with my security outfit. I also rock it for casual outings and even formal. Its a very good buy. Just read the fit instructions before buying to ensure you buy the right fit

Rockport loafer
Comfy but hard to find the right fit. My normal size felt about 1 size too big in these loafers, but when I exchanged to a size smaller they felt too tight in the tongue. Still breaking them in and hope they'll stretch a bit and feel more normal. Comfortable to walk in with decent Arch support though.

La falta de calidad del producto
Los zapatos se están descarapelando de la piel o vinipiel de ambos lados y el poco uso que les he dado siento que no tienen la calidad adecuada de acuerdo a la marca Rocksport y sin garantía
