I bought this high hitch extension for my Craftsman Garden Tractor (GT6000). The holes didn't align to the existing holes on my tractor but, after reading the product description, reviews, and seeing an installation video on the Internet, I didn't really expect them to. That video, however, gave me the confidence to go ahead and purchase the hitch, knowing that any adaptations necessary would probably be pretty easy to handle.I did have to hammer out the brackets to change the degree of bend in each so as to properly fit to my tractor. I also had to drill two new holes in the plate on the back of my tractor - all pretty easy to do. I haven't used it much yet, so I didn't give a star rating for "durability", but it seems to be extremely solid and I don't doubt that it's going to do everything that I need it to do.EDIT: October, 2021 . . . I've had no negative issues whatsoever with this hitch. I give it ***** for durability.

Overall quality of the product is great, didn’t like the smaller bolts that came with the product, I substituted 3/8 bolts instead.Product works great for pulling my trailer around my yard after I mounted it on the back of my riding lawnmower, Thanks 😃

Make sure you pay attention to ball shaft diameter... (I had to return this because the ball shaft diameter was to large and bought a similar one with a smaller ball shaft diameter.)Good quality. I bought another one almost just like this...However, if I were to do this one more time, this is what I would look for:1). It was not easy to install. The support arms were almost to wide for my Craftsman mower. And where they did hit the mower was right on a seam so I had to drill on a seam.2). The new ball position is an inch or two to tall for my liking. Amazon sells other models that are shorter and the support arms are not as wide.

Works great on my John Deere LX 172 after bending the support bars a little. Tows a 500 lb log splitter just fine

The hitch went on in about an hour. I had to drill 2 holes for mounting. It is very sturdy and gives me an easy way to move trailers around the drive and pull yard trailers all around my property.

The images show a Cub Cadet mower with this hitch attached to it but there was no way the brackets would fit my mower as they were too wide. It wasn’t clear that this were designed for ZTR mowers and not for other mowers.Didn’t fit so I couldn’t use it and waited too long to return it. Bummer.

Very pleased with this product….exactly what I was looking for.

I had to do some reshaping of the braces in order to have them fit the pre-drilled holes on the back of my John Deere mower. But after it was installed (a bit of tight work between the fuel tank and the back protection plate), it was solid as if factory-built! Its strength probably exceeds the towing power of the mower considerably.
