False advertising, do not buy
I was forced to buy this mic as my old one broke, and corsair does not sell replacements. When this arrived i realized that this was a totally fake listing, and it does not fit the HS60 headset at all.

Fixed my problem with original mic/fast shipping!
I bought a Corsair headset and the mic it originally came with was terrible for voice chat. I thought it needed adjustment settings or something but no, it’s just the mic. No idea why they went with that mic but this replacement fixed the problem and my friends can hear me clearly. If you’re having this problem with the original mic too I recommend this product. Also when I ordered this item I was surprised at how fast it came in the mail.

Loud buzzing sound
Unlike others, I did not have to modify the plug to fit into my HS60 headset. However, there was a loud, constant buzzing sound which persisted across multiple ports and PC's.
