My printer said it has no toner a couple of months after I installed this. Annoying. So I'm ordering a different TN2420 cartridge to replace it. It's not like I print much. I would order a Brother OEM cartridge, it's more economical, but I'm skint.Edit: I adjusted my printer settings and this same cartridge that my printer bleated about so soon is now working again perfectly. There is a setting on the printer: stop or continue - it was set to stop. I changed that, thanks to Google for finding it. And I have a spare toner, a different brand, that arrived before I did this 😖

I was a bit sceptical buying this product because I've tried a few of these non-OEM toners for my brother mfc-l2710dw and none of them worked. I ended up buying one made by brother in the end. Anyway, this worked straight away without me having to fiddle about with anything so I'm really pleased. I don't know how long the toner will last so I'll update this when I find out.Update - The first replacement toner gave just under 3000 A4 sheets' worth. The second toner gave around 1500 so quite some inconsistency as I tend to print stuff with the same amount of coverage on the page

Cannot comment on the overall value for money because I still use this ink and cannot say how many pages I will be able to squeeze out of this cartridge but so far quality of printing is good. It has arrived on time and it took me seconds to replace my old cartridge that was bought from platform famous for its cheap phone covers and your rubbish stored in the loft being on sale.So far I have printed nearly 300 pages.

Altogether this cartridge printed 2,300 pages with an average coverage rate of 6.05%. Considering the 3,000 page yield ad is based on a 5% coverage, it’s an acceptable performance for this price.

It works great and so far the quality of printing seems similar to the official ones. However, the printer's software can't or won't report on how much ink is left. No other issues.

Perfect substitute for Brother branded cartridge, at a much lower price. The cartridge arrived well-packed and was quick and easy to install.I opted for the high yield one following my move to home working due to Covid-19, and it has been excellent. It’s done tons of printing (several teams of paper so far) and is still going strong.The print quality is excellent - crisp and even.I will be buying this brand again.

Similar to the other reviews here the black text printed by this toner isn't anywhere near as black as the official brother starter cartridge. Having a greyish text means lower contrast and isn't as easy to read large amounts of text printed.My starter 700 page cartridge lasted the full 700 pages without fading or banding so kudos to Brother for their correct estimates, but this smartomi cartridge was fading within 600 pages - a long way from the 3000 pages it claims.I've shaken the cartridge to redistribute the toner but that still doesn't solve the greyish nature of the print.I'm a bit surprised by the large number of 5 star Vine free product reviews - how can you review toner right after getting it?

Always been a bit reluctant not to use OEM cartridges but was tempted by the cost savings of using these as opposed to the Brother originals. Have to say they work perfectly, every bit as good as the originals and less than half the price. Would definitely use again.
